Why has Larry never been a guest host of this show?

Why did Larrys show fail, even when this show, who gave them the highest morning ratings they ever had, turned it over to Larry?

Green is the color Rod Z is most interested in.

I think Rod would love to have a Black and White team kicking ass ratings wise.

But his job is not to develop these guys and to be honest, it's nobodys job to "develop" them.

It's who delivers the ratings for the best $$$$ and to date, M&H win that battle. It's a fact you can't dispute. Like them or hate them, the $$$$$'s are there.

Herb should get more airtime ahead of Jason or Larry.

Ranger should have a show, not sponsored by the Sox.

Connor will be a good host, alone or with someone else that he does not sound like.

Finfer will replace Les one day.

At first I just thought it was a joke or maybe he was a bit tired or didn't have his coffee....then it kept happening, Larry this, M&H are awesome that. I thought it just might be a new found love for Oxycontin or model glue, but it became more pervasive, more terrifying, more in your face. Then came the Playboy mags with pictures of Mulligan and Bigesy taped over the naked chicks, tattoo's and bathroom stall impeccadilloes with his radio hero's.... We can't escape it and neither can he, it's his own personal hell.

Because Mulligan has some sense and wouldnt bring in a much more entertaining host as a fill in....that wouldnt be good.

Also, M and H's audience is not sophisticated enough to appreciate good radio.

Yikes - their discussion with Zaidman was painful to listen to. KC Johnson wasn't much better.

The show failed because despite the attempt to recreate a Jiggetts & North, Larry didn't have enough talent to carry the unintelligible Hamp. That notion hasn't been completely forgotten by management which is why he's still around.

Why he's not a guest is because the two hosts are former newspapermen and know that such a relative flyweight would diminished their regular guests more weightier stature, other newspapermen who cover sports. From who Larry gets his information.

Which is why I often wish there were a third station (other major metros have such) that would be willing to get the two current incarnations out of their lazy comfort zones. How either Larry or Harry have existed in such a large market is something that makes no sense.
