Anyone have any thoughts on after market remote starters? I've heard a couple of horror stories but am sure if they are isolated or not. Thanks!

I've had a fine experience with my Chevy Traverse. Works really well. Warms up the car a bit before you're ready to go. Just make sure the garage is open.

I still want one where I can speak into my watch and say, "K.I.T., I'm in trouble. Come and get me."

I'm totally jinxing mine, but I got an aftermarket starter, and I freaking love it. The only issue I have is the keyfob doesn't unlock all of the doors after you use it to start the car. I like to unload my work bag in the backseat, but if I've used the starter, I have to open the driver door, tap the brake to take control of the car from the remote starter, and then hit the unlock button. In the grand scheme of things, not the biggest of deals, but a minor inconvenience.

Well worth it overall though.
