LeBron is physically more gifted than MJ. I don't like to say it but it's true. Being physically more gifted DOESN'T make him a better player. He'll never be better. Obviously size is in LeBron's favor but he can also run faster and jump just as high. I watched MJ play (don't need videos young man  ) and that's why I say LeBron will never be better.

So you think Lebron is a better athlete? That might be true. He's never been a more talented basketball player though.

Does body type count as talent?

Its part of the package I think

As complete packages LeBron's game doesn't compare to Jordan's.

You can certainly compare them in some aspects, just not all. They play completely different game styles.

Fo sho. Not even close. Just wondering how you classify something like that.

I mean LeBron does use his big body to his advantage in the paint...it does count for something

What I meant is that LeBron is not close to being the overall player MJ was. In that sense, they are not comparable. Kobe's best wasn't quite as good as MJ's best but they are at least comparable.

That's one of the aspects where I think LeBron's lack of a complete game is exposed. Kobe is much smaller than he is but much better in the paint.

ImO Lebron is a better basketball player than MJ, but he's not a better champion yet...

This whole thread started because of the way we Chicagoans fall in love with our own players.
I think that anyone in any other part of the country would select Rose/Howard, we love our guys
and a good number find quirky reasons to justify picking Rose/Noah.

All this argument over something that is not going to happen is just silly. This is just a bad Sam Smith rumor that NBA.com and Yahoo are running with. This trade will never happen because:

A. The Bulls don't have enough to offer the Magic

and

B. Dwight Howard doesn't want to come here.

I don't necessarily disagree with you. But what team that Howard wants to play for has enough?

The Lakers can pretty much part with anything except for Kobe. They have more pieces than the Bulls.

Really? Gasol is a nice piece, but who else? I cannot see Odom really being that attractive right now. Bynum is not nearly what people thought a couple years back. Who am I missing?

I must be getting punked or BF is deleting my posts. That's the only way this would make sense. The argument from my end isn't Noah or Howard. Even though I don't believe Howard fits the system that would be a fairly easy decision. It's the combination of Deng and Noah for Howard that I don't believe is worth it. Rose would probably want to kill Howard after the first practice with all his bullshit antics.

No. I was the guy slamming Paxson for treating the so called core like they were his children. I wanted Kobe. I wanted Gasol. I was also the only guy here from day 1 that thought the trading of Chandler and signing of Wallace was terrible. Don't call me Hov no more call me a visionary.
I seem to recall you were a supporter of Larry Hughes as well.

Billups. You can point to PG's not winning it all similar to how you can point to the great QB's not consistently winning it all. Fact is when you look at most of the younger good teams in the league they all have a really great PG. Without looking I would say by position the PG position would have more of the top players in the NBA in it than any other position.

Not sure if Billups was. Rasheed and Ben have a case for that spot too. And what great QB's are missing a title? Rodgers, Brady, a healthy Manning, Brees, and Roethlisberger are the top 5 QB's in the league and all have won one.
If you're asking HOVA, you've left out Grossman.

I was never a fan of Hughes. If I liked anything it would have been his contract coming off the books. I'm sure someone would have quoted me saying something foolish like that.

What kind of fucking system are you talking about that couldn't fit in a 3 time defensive player of the year and one of the best outlet passers in the game? Grasping @ straws. You know you are wrong.

I'd give up any two guys on the roster for Howard but I think Orlando can find a better offer.

I'm not saying you thought he was great, just still good. Finding a quote to that affect will prove difficult however as Nas has no past.

Of course KS did. I was excited to get rid of Wallace and I still have a thing for Gooden. Can't really explain it.
