He is gonna drive me fucking insane! High hanging pitches out over the plate are not gonna lower your goddamn ERA. Thanks for pissing on my buzz!

I have no idea, but this horrible display by him has driven me to drink a whole lot more than I planned tonight. Better that this team hit rock bottom now than at the end of the season I guess. They sure as hell can't play, field, hit, or pitch much worse.

Don't worry. According to Hawk and D.J., this outing was a positive one for Buehrle since he only had one bad inning.

The Sox better pull out of this fast because Minnesota is looking very serious right now...

Buerhle looks very tired, maybe all of the innings that he pitches are wearing him down, Buerhle isn't the whole problem the whole team sucks right now

Seems like it is appropriate to re-open this topic since he's down 2-0 in the second after giving up a bomb to Cuddyer.

You talk about a guy who gives up seven earned runs in five innings and your talking about a guy who's running his team out of the playoffs.

jump off the bandwagon? wtf are you talking about? i'm not a cubs fan.
they suck lately.
as it stands right now, i don't think they'll make the playoffs.
if they were 7.5 games ahead of the tigers, i'd bet that they would make the playoffs....
i didn't think they'd win the series last year.....so, i'm a bad fan.
o.k....
i'll continue being a bad fan and go to my 10 games this year.

Never owned a White Sox fan card, so nothing to give up.

Hey Nas, I've been a Sox fan since 1977 (before you were born), so you don't need to concern yourself with my commitment to the team. How dare I question Buerle, you're right he's looking fantastic.

You just keep up the Pollyanna attitude, and keep riding that Cubs/Sox fence. You probably have the Bears going 16-0 too.

You can't be a real fan if you jump off the bandwagon this early. Is this team 20 games out? No. At worse they will be tied for the wildcard (if they don't comeback and win today) and you all are writing the season off. When this team turns it around, I don't want to hear about how good they are from any of you guys. You have officially lost your White Sox fan card until next year.

I'll go out on a limb here and actually agree with Nas... but only to a point. While I don't think fans should write off this season just yet (I'm personally waiting for at least July 31st to go by before I lose all hope), and while I still have to be optimistic even with a Wild Card tie with the Twins as of today, I CANNOT sit back and disagree with those who are legitimately concerned.

But guys, do we really expect the Twins to stay this hot? 32 out of 41 games won? Yes, impressive, but reality has to come in at some point.

Hell, it did for us.

Old fart!

The Sox are tied for the wild card right now. They just finished an unbelievably bad 15 game stretch against the best teams in the league. If they can get healthy in the next week against Baltimore and KC, they are back in business. If not, THEN I will be willing to start pouring the dirt on the casket. Unitl then GO GO WHITE SOX.

Here's what I don't get... Buerhle is in a contract year and hehas just ben plain awful, it does not make sense because usually players play best in contract years.
