I won't comment on how NASCAR looks because I have a college education and all of my teeth, thus I am not looking. But the NBA's "hot stove" seems to consist of guys wondering how the compressed season will effect each respective team and wringing their hands over a trade that was not allowed to take place. Baseball has all the headlines. Surprising that baseball is so dominating during the heart of the playoff drive in the most popular sport.

Thats not close to true. Last week, Pujols, Reyes, and CJ Wilson were the only MLB players tha made ESPN headlines and they were easily behind the Paul trade, Chandler to the Knicks, Rodgers and the undefeated Packers, and Tebow. Baseball is a distant third this time of year.

That's just not true. Baseball has made all the headlines in the past week or so. I didn't even know Chandler went to the Knicks. That's how big that story was.

Well, for all it's faults ESPN is the only national channel covering all the sports and the Chandler signing especially the Paul trade was more talked about on Mike and Mike, First Take, Jim Rome, ATH, and PTI than the Pujols signing(one of the biggest in MLB history). This time of year is for NBA and NFL. It'll change in 3-4 months.

Pujols has been by far the biggest sports story this week.

I'm sure subjectively to you it is. By any objective criteria it's not.

Nope. Look at the threads on this board, if you wish to use that. Watch ESPN, if you choose to use that. Read SI.com, if you choose to use that. All of those indicate much more interest in the Chris Paul trade(with Tebow being in second) than the Pujols signing.

Not as many as in MLB.

As far as Worst Professional League, the NHL is king in that department.

No NBA teams go 20 years without a winning record.

Pirates, Royals, Orioles, Mariners, A's, Astros, Padres, Nationals, Mets in MLB. 9 out of 30. 30%

Raptors, Bucks, Pistons, Bobcats, Wizards, Kings, Jazz, Timberwolves in NBA. 7 out of 30. 23%

So that 80% mark would seem a bit high.

MLB is the worst of the team sports. Boxing is the worst of all professional sports. TnA worst of all "sports".

I agree.

I mean giving Tyson Chandler that much cash? Bad move. How'd that work out with Eddie Curry?

It is the only sport where the college game is superior.
