I like that signing by the Pacers, along with the David West deal. They should be pretty SOLID this year.

Shouldn't Golden State be taking more heat than Kwame? They signed the waste of space to the deal.

I wouldn't be shocked if they finished with a higher seed than the Hawks. :P

well of course they'll be in NBA hell for a long time to come

really, Horford and Smith are very solid pieces and make a reasonable salary

they got rid of Bibby who couldn't play any D and Teague was progressing at least somewhat

Johnson is the one that doomed them forever

Im glad we finally agree on this.... Also Jeff Teague is much better than I thought he'd be... Dude put on serious bulk before last season, and he could always score.

Per team release, the Cleveland Cavaliers waived Baron Davis and used the amnesty provision on the veteran guard.

Billups having dinner with Vinny Del Negro tonight. I'm sure he'll be impressed by VDN's rich basketball mind.

NBA free agent point guard Baron Davis out "several weeks" with a back injury, his agent Todd Ramasar tells Yahoo! Sports.

Planted story to scare the Bobcats of the league from getting him?

He was already fat, but can you imagine how out of shape he must be after the long lockout?

He screams Shawn Kemp. However since it's a long season he is worth the wait for a team that needs a PG. I would kick the tires if I were a team like the Knicks or Lakers.

Felton was moved in the Carmelo deal.

I'm trying to figure out the Knicks bench at this point:

PG - Bibby
SG - Bill Walker
SF - Jared Jeffries
PF - Renaldo Balkman
C - Nobody

Is that right?

Eddy Curry leaves a sizeable void on the bench...

Shocker in Sacto: Kings GM Geoff Petrie releases statement saying contract of F Chuck Hayes has been voided after he failed the physical.

Wow

that's surprising

He was one of my best players last year, seriously....he contributed in pretty much every category, real hard worker/lunch pail kinda guy
often would have a line like 10 pts, 9 reb, 5 asst, 3 steals, 3 blocks....not a huge contributor overall but gave you steals and blocks all the time which are huge, and was a solid rebounder and shot a decent %
