You want jerseys? I'll give you a jersey. I will provide a new officially licensed Urlacher jersey (XXL) for the most auspicious golf shot of the day struck by a board member. (Regifting alert: I was gifted recently with the jersey, but I don't wear jerseys, so I will donate it to the boys' day out). You guys who go can decide on the winner. All I require is a description of the auspicious shot. Pictures would be better.

I watched that show too - for the hot chicks (along w/ Saved By The Bell) .

I mean auspicious....

For example, I believe it is an auspicious (favorable) shot when a golf ball bounces ten times on a lake and still finds it way across. I find it an auspicious (fortunate) shot when a ball is so high and so long and so far out of bounds it flies over homes without shattering glass. I think it's auspicious (prosperous) when somebody chips in from off the green. Stuff like that. Sure, luck can enter into it. Luck is the great equalizer for golfers of different skills.

Chris from Sycamore just missed winning four tickets to the Mannivesary b/c he didn't know against whom Buehrle threw a one hitter in 2001. If it was me, I would be in front of my PC if I knew I was going to be asked a trivia question.

In Google, I typed "buehrle one hitter 2001" and the first hit said Devil Rays. Less than 5 seconds from beginning to end.

You guys who actually do get in to call the show, to play games, win prizes or just to yak.....and get in more than once a year (like a Stu Gotz)... must either have a magic dialer or have a secret phone number or something. Most of the rest of us gave up long ago.

The worst is when your listening on the Internet and you realize you have a 20 second delay for any contest asking for a call or an email.

It is way longer than 20 seconds J. Its closer to a minute or two. If you are listening on the internet, don't even try to call in for one of these. That's why I wait for the email contests to win my prizes.
