Jeff Dickerson in for Silvy today.

He's saying that he agrees with starting McCown but if the Bears fall behind, say 21-0, he'd bring in Caleb Hanie because "maybe he can freelance better off the bench and bring them back..."

I don't think Hanie, or any QB on the Bears not named Cutler, is going to rally the Bears from a 21-0 deficit.

Dickerson also seems to like to complain a lot about the great hardships he suffers as a beat reporter.

JD is the very definition of vanilla on the radio. everything he says is very standard and predictable. he is good as a bears beat reporter, though. much better than ZZ.
