I think you are referring to Tom Tom Tamales. IDK if Portillo's has that exact brand, but many hot dog stands do.

BTW, this is an awesome thread. Two of my favorite Restaurants getting shout outs, Portillo's and Tacos Erendira. :cheers:

This thread has made me hungry for tamales all week. So I finally got out and found a little place around here that had tamales. Not too bad, but not nearly as good as I remember from the lil lady on the corner that used to make em back home.
