People on twitter pissed off because Lovie gave the ball to the Pack to start the game are cracking me up. Getting the ball to start the game and going 3 and out would have been real effective too

It has nothing to do with th Bears and everything to do with Rodgers and the Pack being pissed off about last week. Your team gave up a month ago.

Although he looks a little better than Hanie, I'm glad they kept that "2 yard pass to the defensive lineman" in the game plan

No doubt about it.

And we have way to many weapons to be going to Finley as much as we do. WTF is that all about?

Tell me about it. I would like to see Taylor get some more snaps. I would also like to see capers do the opposite of whatever he is trying to do. Dj smith needs to play over hawk.

J-Pep had quite a game against the Packers Sunday; Not 1 recordable stat. 0 sacks, tackles, assists, nada. Nothing. Zilch. Zip. His money is wasted on a bad team with so many holes.

So you didn't think hawk, walden and wilson were just standing around getting owned ? At least so'oto came in and gave a legit pass rush.

Against a team with a beat up offensive line too. If they were trying to follow the Chiefs model on beating these guys , they failed miserably in getting at the qb and that goes for the whole D line.

Yup. Peppers was owned by a 3rd stringer last night. From the day the Bears signed Peppers I said that his money would be better spent on improving 3 or 4 positions, & that is even more true now. Lets face it, the Peppers signing only happened because Jerry Angelo cant read a draft report & pick the right guy, & he & Lovie were in job saving mode, so they make the big splash & sign Peppers, & stupid Bears fans think all is right with the Bears. No. All is not right with the Bears. Peppers showed up for about 50% of the Bears games this season. That's not good enough.

I barely watched any of the game and I saw multiple plays where Peppers had an impact...if you are simply looking at stats, you're being lazy.

Newhouse is 2nd string and TJ Lang is a starter at Guard. Sherrod was 3rd string but he is out for the season.

Peppers was dominated by his opponent on nearly every play of that game. There is lots of chatter on the Score today saying that Peppers didn't show up. It wasn't hard to see.

I think the Bears defense is/has been overated all year. I constantly hear the defense complimented, with sometimes superlatives being thrown out there in describing their performace....I just don't see it.

There in the middle of the pack in most defensive stats, and in forced turnovers, something that this defense is supposed to be built around, they have what, 4 in the last five games.

Even in the games when the defense has played well, they have the tendency to break in the worst possible times.....Oakland, Bears cut the lead 18-13 in the 4th, have some momentum and what happens...the Raiders drive 75 yards down the field for a TD.

The Bears have a 10-0 lead over the Broncos with 2 1/2 minutes left. A great defense wins the game 10-0 or 10-7, not give up 13 points in 3 possesions.

Even yesterday, GB drives right down the field on the 1st possession, and when the Bears finally score to get some momentum the Bears defense give it right back. Then in the second half the Bears cut the lead again to 14-10 so what does the defense do, gives the momentum right back to GB.

And you can't blame the whole "well the defense was forced to be on the field yesterday." The Packers barely had the ball yesterday and still scored 4 td on their first seven possesions.

You sound like a meatball Bears fan. Try to watch the Bears objectivly. your not paying attention if you don't realize that Peppers didn't show up for 7 games. If you listened to the Score today you heard Hub, Doug, Bob Legere, and Few others all criticize Peppers. Julius not showing up for many games is nothing new. Peppers is great when he does show up, but doing so for 8 games each season is not acceptable. He was terrible against the Packers.

 Easy there killer. Tamba Hali dominated the Packers. Peppers really didn't do much. If you wanna pretend he did to feel better, have at it though.

If Peppers ever took a game off, it was the this one. Four straight losses with no sign of improvement, facing nearly impossible odds to make the playoffs, and even if they sneak in, what are they gonna do there? I can't blame him if he actually did ease up.

Were all of you going into this game feeling really good about the Bears and their post-season chances? They were playing for nothing, with a fourth string offense, against the best team in the league (Hell, the defense scored a TD last week and they still lost).

I'd rather he preserves himself for next year.

what in the hell...dude, the offense is a 3-and-out by design in the last 5 games. the defense can only do so much. no, they're not world beaters but they do a good job for what they have to do. yeah they break...the offense gives them no chance.
