But FIRST I want to talk about the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl, aka the Interim Coaches Bowl.

This is some pretty funny shit going on with this game. UCLA fires their coach and gets into a bowl with a losing record.

Illinois fires its coach (no problem with that), but then wants to hassle the assistant coaches through their exit clauses? Now the assistants are threatening to boycott the game? Illinois hires a midmajor coach with a mediocre record to be coach?. What, has Illinois football become Iowa basketball? What stud athlete wants to play for a guy who was 21-16 at Toledo? Can't see the top kids clamoring to play for this guy.

Having said all that, got to like the fundamentals with Illinois in this game...that is if we can figure out whether any of the assistant coaches or players on either team actually gives a shit.
