I think you're playing the Falcons, or do they have the tie-breaker over the Lions?

Falcons won their only head to head matchup thus giving them the 5th seed.

Will Payton and Brees be able to re-focus from all of the stat whoring that has gone on the last 2 weeks?

it would be just like the saints to shit the bed after "accomplishing" something like that. but yeah...they're too hot at home to stifle now.

What hurts your guy, KS, is not what Brees did today, but what Rodgers' back up did. He made it look like the team doesn't need him.

it is concerning, though, that GB gave up a bunch of yards and points again. i guess the good news for them is that the only team they'd have to worry about putting up points on them may not get to them.

If you believe that, your NFL card should be revoked.

I don't believe it, but give some dimwit mvp voter a newspaper, have him look at the box score, and he'll jump to all kinds of crazy conclusions.

He has to have about 170 more attempts than Rodgers now.

San Diego needs to realize that Tebow in the playoffs is worse than Oakland in the playoffs.

I know. They're not making it anyways. They need to do this (lose) for the greater good...

broncos are the seahawks of last year. no way they deserve to host a playoff game...i think either wild card team could beat them though.

Both WC teams might win next week in the AFC. Houston hasn't won since week 14, but that was against the Bungles. Pittsburgh will probably win against Denver, on defense alone. Rd. 2 could be chalk, as two of the best home teams will get whatever guppies come out of this round.

The NFC matchups are more exciting. Saints v. Lions II: Bayou Boogaloo should be Madden-esque. The Falcons should have a good matchup against either East team (fingers crossed it's the G-Men). However, all these teams are facing impending doom as the two best teams in the league are waiting in the wings.

Fucking Jordy Nelson, 18.7 yards per catch. How does that happen, he's white.

Brees should win MVP based on what we saw today. Flynn was just as good if not better than Rodgers. That leads me to believe the players around Rodgers make him look great and not the other way around.

The same could be said for the Saints offense. We will never know as Payton is too busy padding stats to ever pull Brees or run the ball and thus the clock to end a game. Brees also has a far superior offensive line.

Could certainly make a case for it to break that way but I think Rodgers will get it.

Giants -3 might have been the play of the year tonight. Knew it would be a struggle for Romo and he has lived up to my expectations. Wish I would have gone more than I did.

I like how the Giants gave them a bit of hope only to slam the door shut again.

Giants/Falcons should be interesting. Neither team played well consistently. We'll see which, if either, brings their A game.

I think both NFC games will be good next week. Both games could be won by the road teams. Detroit can hang with the Saints. If the opponents were swapped by the Packers losing today then I think the Saints and Giants would be heavy favorites.
