It's either Peanut, Briggs, Kellen Davis, Alex Brown, or Chris Harris. My guess would be Briggs.

I'm sure a ton of employees think of their bosses as clowns. That combined with it being anonymous and I'm not sure why that's even worth reporting.

Press Conference at 4pm today. I would imagine both ESPN and the Score will have it.

If the stuff about Chris Polian is correct I'm not interested in Bill.

Is it assumed Chris has to come handcuffed to Bill? Bill has a long history of making very good personell decisions.

Questionable.

He cant draft defense.

My assumption is that if they intended on firing Lovie Smith, they would have announced that at the same time as they did with Jerry Angelo - unless, they plan on letting the next GM make the decision on whether to keep him.

If they hire a top tier GM, it would be expected that he would want to have his coach in place. If they hire a 2nd tier GM, Lovie would likely be back.

It's possible that a new GM, even one that is considered good, may come to the conclusion that Lovie Smith should coach the team next season - that could be because other coaches are hired elsewhere first, he wants to evaluate Lovie, or believes Lovie is a good coach, which is the national perception.

Anything in the last 8 years?

He's Bizzaro Angelo

Really? Come on guys, not every GM hits on every draft pick. I'm sure Polian's picks are better than Angelo's picks.

Yeah, by reputation I thought Polian was a lot better.

But after hearing him called Bizzaro Angelo, I looked into it and it's pretty accurate.

Look at his draft picks

Look at this year's team without Manning

Polian's recent drafting history is as bad as Angelo's. Polian's benefitted from 2 HoF QBs and an expansion draft system so rigged they blew it up when the it came time for the Browns to come into the league. While Angelo may have signed a drug kingpin, Polian drafted a murderer.

No one has addressed that the house cleaning needs to go upwards as well. Phillips should be gone. If not, I assume we will get another clusterfuck of an executive search resulting in a hire that is too late to make a positive impact on this year's draft.

Give me someone rising through one of the good organizations in this league like the Steelers or Patriots. Someone who has learned organizational skills, drafting, etc. from respected professionals.

In so many words, I think Loho is saying it was Alex Brown.

He just introduced him on the show as "One of Angelo's draft picks" and "Also wasn't brought back by Angelo".

Lovie should be fired also. Bring in Billick or Cowher. This team needs a new voice. Sure they had injuries, but a good coach would of had his backup ready and he would have also known that he sucked after a game or 2.

It was Dez Clark talking shit. Much deserved shit. Currently talking more shit.

Couldn't you just feel the dysfunctional nature of this organization? I could literally feel it. I could see it on the face of Cutler. I didnt need Dez Clark to tell me the level of stupidity that existed.

IMHO Angelo was not qualified to be an NFL GM & Martz is an egotistical asshole.

Dez was talking, but that's not who Loho was referring to because he said that it was an "Angelo" draft pick, and Dez was originally drafted by the Denver Broncos.

Its way past time, this guy should have gone long ago. His handing of the back up QB situation was appalling and his handling of the offensive & defensive lines was non existent.

1. Nice. Angelo not bringing in the rest of the team to build around Cutler has been a smoking gun. D's getting older, the backup QB wasn't properly evaluated.
2. Punt Lovie if you want. The point is, something makes coaches one-dimensional, inflexible, unable to work with the talent they have. Are they all shitheads when hired, or is there something at the institutional level?
3. Because remember same thing can be said of Jauron and his coordinators & coaches. I forget Wannie's crimes.
