Never played nor have been in the presence of an Atari, but Missile Command on my Atari Ipad app is pretty damn good...

Dear Internet Cretin Chris,

The title was "Barnstorming".
NOBODY IN THE WORLD LIKED 2600 PACMAN. The only positive thing to be said about that game was that it wasn't E.T.

Now, back to important matters, namely what I like.

Damn near anything by Activision (especially Kaboom!) ... a number of carts by a company called Imagic (silver label games), and some Xonox carts too - they were two games on one double-cartridge (one end played one game, the other end played another).

Those are Atari games, ya goof ... those are the companies that made the cartridges for the 2600 that I enjoyed significantly.

Pitfall was ACTIVSION!!!!!!!!!!!

Only Atari! games!

Atari was owned by Nolan Bushnell! Atari was kicking ass, then all the programmers wanted more money, he didnt give it to them, so to fullfill their contracts they "finished" the ET Atari game and did it as fast as they could and it just sucked! (I remember getting it and playing and could not believe how bad it was...now I know)...so they could all go and start Activsion!

So Bushnell had no programmers ..among other cash flow issues....and sold to Time Warner for like $30 mill, they got forced out later and got another $50 mill? for his stock...and with all that he started...Chuck E cheese!

So that is why the Activision games were better...

Fave Atari game...Super Man!

Raiders of the Lost Ark Game was addictive.

Played Asteroids with a friend almost all day.

Also liked the Realsports version of Football they had.

Warlords as well.
