C'mon,he doesn't deserve that. He tried (led MLB in ejections),but Walter Alston couldn't manage that deadass team that lost 2 starters in the first few weeks.

You are right. Quade didn't deserve to be manager and no one wants his sorry ass in their organization with 5 weeks until Spring Training - lol!!!

I think far more people thought he was an odd choice but decided to give him a chance and they were just responding to the drum beats calling for Ryne Sandberg who actually has less experience than Quade and probably would have sucked just as bad with last years dead ass team. Let's not live in the past gentlemen.
