thats funny, because when the giants were wearing those "classic" uni's in the 80's, everyone was calling for the old NY look back. i personally favor the ny look by a landslide but i liked them both. id like to see the "giants" look get rolled out once a year.

"Classic"? The "NY" helmet and current uniforms are indeed throwbacks to the days of Gifford, Tittle, Huff and others. Yes, the Giants actually had some great talent on their squads before LT's rookie season.
I love these uniforms -- and I didn't care for LT-Simms era look.
That's like someone liking the dark blue Chargers uniforms of Junior Seau's days instead of the Lance Alworth-era powder blues.

i will take todays giants unis 100% of the time over the 80's uni. i dont look at the 80's uni as the giants "classic" look at all. it isnt a terrible look, but to me the giants will always be "ny".

Well, thats how the Giants were introduced to me as a youngster so that is the CLASSIC for me.
