Mac, should we avoid the middleman and just address our questions to Justin Craig?

Ok. I'll take your lead Mac since you suggested some topics. You seem to want to talk about them. But I guess they have to be officially asked.

What happened with Jurko and Harry?

Your thoughts on Bristol people?

What are your thoughts on ESPN 1000 management and Justin Craig? What's his management style been like? Is he trying to mold you into Bristol types?

Mac,

Please take a deep breath before you fire back to any questions. Sober at the time you answer would be good too.

Mac,

What's your favorite all-time on air tease? You can get back to me after the next commercial break.

You've been hinting on Salisbury's demise soon. Is that gonna happen? Will Rosie stay or will he be shown the door too? If yes to one or both then who takes over that show?

Beardown, can you please be a bit more specific? Those questions read like a grade schooler asking his favorite pro baseball player what he thinks of ice cream.

Daniel my brother, what happened to the once refreshing ESPN1000? When did you three sell out and become corporate sellouts? I am thisclose to removing AM1000 from "P1" and replacing it with this:

Mac,
You've been hinting at 2pm-6pm time slot for awhile. Will it ever happen or is not an option at ESPN?

Would you leave ESPN if things didn't go the way you thought they would?

Ok Mac. Can you have Justin Craig send that Canadian over to my house so I can sharpen my interviewing skills? It's worked wonders for you. LOL.

The only one that was vague and stupid was "what do you think of Bristol people" That was dumb. But the other ones are fine.

I will ask once again- how much is Harry's family paying to have him on the air? If nothing, then why is he on the air?

Mackey-Fish, another Ask Mac? I bet one more and you get a set of steak knives

Last week, when "The Show" had Carmen, Silvy, and Waddle in, you kept repeating on-air that that sounds good, and "they should be a show." Is this because you were tweaking management, or were you dropping hints that this is a future move, or some combination of the two? Why the emphasis?

Mac, what are some of the positives and some of the negatives of the not-so-new Program Director's reign? We the listeners have heard a lot of changes, not all of which are good, and have heard one no-change (Salisbury continued employment, when he feels like it) that baffles us. What are your thoughts on the direction the station is going under L. Justin?

Yeah Right, you'll get to this over the weekend .... You have 72 hours of the NFL draft , Sox baseball, Cubs baseball , Bulls Playoff basketball ( forget that you hate the bulls) , NHL playoffs (forget that too) and on top of that I'm sure you and Sherry will be playing the role of MR. Whipple trying to find a 4 square ply of Sharmen .

Mac, prior to the 5PM break, you said "ESPN1000, we've got a long way to go."

Were you talking about the fact that you had two more hours of show to go, or that ESPN1000 had a long way to go to get back to where they were in 01AD (After the Ignoramus on between 9-noon)

Hey Mac, another quick question. I know you still beat B&B(the pussy and the perv), but why do you think your lead is slipping? They truly suck, yet the spread in ratings is narrowing. Why do you honestly feel that is happening? I know it isn't just the 3-7pm crap, with absolutey no lead in from the worst show on radio, because you have been in the slot for a long time. I know, hell everyone knows my feelings about the talentless Harry, the more he speaks the faster I switch stations. Jurko is right about him, but I really want to know why YOU feel the ratings are slipping.

Alright Mac,
Instead of asking questions, I'm just going to post my thoughts on what I feel has been going on at ESPN 1000. The station has changed and I'd like to know if any of this stuff is close to being true....

What happened around this time last year? Sean Salisbury came over from the mothership to do a 3 hour sports radio gig. Sean is one of ESPN's golden boys. ESPN sent him to Chicago to groom him to be a national radio host down the road. (Probably some sort of daily NFL show from August to Feb.) Sean said he was excited to be in Chicago and couldn't wait to be a part of the team and move out here.....and then he sucked at this radio gig. And then he showed didn't care about this gig (showing up late and whatnot). And then he never moved to Chicago. ESPN will bring him back to Bristol for good once they feel they've groomed him to their liking (keep in mind I said "their" not ours)

Enter "El" Justin Craig. He comes from Bristol some eight months ago or so. He was their goldne boy behind the scenes working on their golden show Mike and Mike. Craig wanted to advance his career. He became the weekend PD in Bristol. What's the next step? Be the PD for ESPN National. However, they probably have someone who is happy in that position and wanted to give Craig some experience in charge of a station for all week's worth of programming....Enter Chicago, again. Craig moves out here to an apartment from what i understand. His fiance/wife (can't remember, not important) does NOT move here and has stayed out there the whole time. Danny Mac gets wind that Craig's wife has no interest of moving here. Mac starts putting the pieces together that Craig is just using Chicago as his stepping stone. Doesn't really know much about the station and its listeners and really, doesn't care. he cares about Bristol and endorses Salisbury and ANYTHING ESPN National. Meanwhile one of Mac's buddies Adam Delevitt, who should have gotten the job, has to sit back and wait after doing his part as the interim PD. Plus, Craig doesn't have Chicago's best interest at heart if its true this is all for that next job in Bristol.

My guess is you can't be happy about this if this is true and frankly I can see why. This is my conspiracy theory.

Mac,

Whats your opinion on Imus and the fallout of his comments. Does this type of thing worry you that it might put restrictions on what you and others can now say?

Mac,

I noticed Harry seems to be the one to get under peoples skin with you , Jurko and co-workers and my two part question is why? And the other is that you and Jurko never seems to fight . Why is that ?

Mac,

What happened to Critics at XL? I have always enjoyed this segment and thought it was must-listen-radio. Not too long ago, Critics was being praised as one of the best segments on sports talk radio. All of a sudden it's not relevant anymore? I find the whole thing a bit strange. I am not going to speculate on the reason for the change, but I really hope that it can be brought back in some form in the future.

What's changed since the segment became a must listen ? One of two things - either Mac doesn't care about the segment during non-football season OR the new program director doesn't like the segment.

Question # 2 Mac,

What was the joke that got you fellas in trouble back in January of '06? You teased it recently, and then just dropped the subject all together. What gives?
