Barrett Picks His New Theme, News on Tonight's RAW, Sheamus & Daniel Bryan
By Marc Middleton
Jan 30, 2012 - 7:05:38 AM

- Tonight's WWE RAW Supershow will take place from the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Tonight's show will see Triple H return to evaluate John Laurinaitis and the fallout from the Royal Rumble. Matches advertised locally include Kane vs. John Cena and Dolph Ziggler vs. WWE Champion CM Punk.

- In hyping Sheamus' 2012 Royal Rumble win, WWE is pointing out that Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 27 for the United States Championship was bumped from the card last year. The two ended up going to a No Contest in one of the WrestleMania 27 dark matches. They wrote:

"It was an important victory for the SmackDown Superstar. A year ago, The Celtic Warrior’s WrestleMania XXVI bout against Daniel Bryan was bumped from the card at the last minute. This year, he’ll be competing for a World Title. Don’t expect The Great White to let this opportunity slip through his fingers."

I just think right now they have too many stories that don't ever really have any resolution to them. They should have done something with C.M. Punk last night and they just kind of moved it along last night. Same with Chris Jericho. You hype a guy coming in for months and than you have one of your biggest PPV's of the year leading to your biggest PPV and than NOTHING happens with that guy. Having Booker T,Jerry Lawler, and Cole be involved this year in the Rumble was just stupid and just lazy booking. It's really gotten to be really depressing lately on how vanilla and aveage WWE has gotten and I was hoping last night would point them in the right direction for WM, but I don't think it did.

If they don't tie in the Jericho/Steph/Videos/World thing tonight, I will post naked from now on.

With a live WebCam.

I will also perform any acts of filth that Speeps requests of me while being live on said WebCam.

It may be the end of the CSFMB as you know it.

You mean with pants on? Cuz there is no way you don't already post naked with all your Taylor Swift pictures you post.

The Rumble last night sucked so bad I am having a hard time psyching myself up to watch this tonight. They had such a great opportunity to really get things going for Mania and they completely shat the bed. So disappointing.

Did I just get a Wayne's World, and Clown Shoes reference in one promo?!?! CM Punk is the greatest.

"Dolph Ziggler was one of only six participants to last more than 10 minutes in the Rumbel last night, surviving more than 20 minutes!"

That's one of the reasons the Rumble was pathetic Cole. Maybe don't point that out.

I have a feeling he's going on the back burner until Mania. He'll win MITB.

Me too. Which is a shame.

He's the top heel in the company. Or could be.

Where did this Funkasaurous guy come from? I've never seen him that I can recall but that entrance was sweet.

Wasn't Daniel Bryan getting enough heel heat as it was without having to give him Punk's straight edge society gimmick in vegan clothes? And can we please get on with the Jericho-Punk feud already because face Punk, save that one promo at the end of the show on Laurinaitis a couple of weeks ago, is still a snooze.

Since there is talk of Stephanie, does she come out if they have a Triple H-Lauriniatis (Funk Man) show down.

Agreed.

And it made sense to not have a clean finish so as not to damage either champ.

Remember Kane being a monster?

Here comes Super Cena! I hate this stupid company. And I hate myself even more for watching.
