Lose the hat. Christmas was two months ago.

The NBA has a lot of low quality teams. The Bulls are beating the average and below teams without their best player, and in many cases by wide margins. They are even competitive against the better teams without Rose.

That being said, the Bulls aren't worth watching without Rose. He is so damn good and makes several highlight reel plays every game. The NBA only gets good when the playoffs start.

He probably won't play tonight when the Bulls host the Celtics at the U.C. on the Bulls' favorite national cable channel TNT, but I get the feeling Derrick Martell Rose's return is imminent. The Bulls have 2 afternoon games this weekend, and I predict Derrick will be back for either the Saturday game vs. the Nets or the Monday game vs. the Hawks. Both games tip at 3p. That's when you'll see #1 back in action.

They don't need anyone else. Lucas, Watson, and James can handle it for a month.

While they will get the playing time, Watson has been slipping and JL3, is barely holding on at 5'4".

Another Body outside of Mike James and his defense is needed.

I hope it is not another month, I hope it is a week, but I am sure D Rose, does not want to even have the INACTIVE status put on him and that is the reason they have not done it so far.

But at some point, another player only helps.

So Frank you REALLY didnt understand the IR reference or did you just feel because someone else said it, it was time to try and pile on with your superior NBA knowledge?

I would think that anyone making a DL or IR reference in any sport that a knowledgeable sports fan would understand why a team formal places a player on such a list.

The guys sitting next to me used the term "injured List" when referring to D Rose, do you think they are not on par with your NBA knowledge as well?

From all of my posts in this section and the NBA section, its clear I have a limited (at best) knowledge of the NBA and never claimed to have any more than that. I do I know that IR is in football and there is no such list for the NBA.

Seems like this got your panties in a bunch, and I'm not sure why. You should know your own board well enough to know that if somebody makes a bonehead statement like that, its gonna get made fun of or have parody threads started about it. Lighten up, Francis.

If the Bulls are leaving someone else inactive so Rose can dress I agree with you. However this season you are allowed to dress 13 and play 12 in the game.
