Looking for an RPG to play.

I enjoyed Mass Effect 2, but didn't care much for Oblivion.

Where do the Dragon Age games fall into place? Closer to either of those?

Right on.

I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't enjoy Fallout 3 very much, either. I played it for about 20 hours and just didn't seem to get past "Meh".

Same for Borderlands.

Fallout 3 I played for a long time but then eventually got bored of having too many options for sidequests and just kind of gave up. Borderlands is a totally different story though I lost a ton of time playing through that game and all of the DLC.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is getting good reviews. I'm told it is "what Fable should have been". I gotta finish Skyrim before I try it.

Is that the game from Curt Shilling?

My biggest issues with those two games really had nothing to do with the games themselves, but moreso with my impatience and lack of desire to level up my weapons before starting another quest. While that is obviously the point of a "true RPG", I preferred the pace and options available on Mass Effect 2.

I also couldn't fucking stand running out of ammunition.

Yeah you end up spending way too much time buying Ammo in borderlands and the scarcity of it is annoying in Fallout. I think my problem with Fallout was just too many options. I tried playing the original Mass Effect but the combat system was so terrible that I only made it a few hours in before I completely rage quit.

Is Dead Island an RPG?

What'd you think of that game?

Classics: Chrono Trigger, Breath of Fire, Super Mario RPG, FF games and Suikoden.

New: I love Dragon Age: Origins, Fallout, Mass Effect, I also heard the DA:2 Awakenings was pretty good but to streamlined compared to the first.

Final Fantasy VI is probably the best video game of all time. Real talk.

That's a really good one. I believe it was the first to have a shitload of characters. It was also the first to go w/ a different "style" than the other one's, which were pretty much set in medieval type worlds.

Right on Speeps. To this day it is the best game I ever played.

Yes sir.

That was the first game where I would play in marathon sessions.

I played that game once for 27 straight hours.

I was about 30 hours into the game and my memory card fucked up and the game erased. I almost had to be put into a mental institution.

You got to play more of it, how is that a bad thing?

It is unfathomable how there is no remake yet.

It should NEVER be remade.

Unless it is an exact remake.

Yeah but I got to play the sections that I already did. Plus at the beginning you didnt quite have the freedom yet to fly around and do your own thing.

I couldnt tell you how many hours I spent fighting creatures for the right items to give the chocobos to breed a golden one.

Imagine Midgar, Junon, The Crater, Cosmo Canyon, and Gold Saucer all with FFXIII graphics. And voice acting.

They should remake it EXACTLY like FFVII, same battle system, same story...same dialogue. Just as a modern game.

...imagine the Aeris scene for people playing it the first time around...

Epic.

Ok. I agree with that.

I just don't want an "enhanced version" of the game like Star Wars.
