Although not excited about the "product" that will be on the field for both teams this year, I'm always happy for the start of spring training. It's a much better predictor of how much more winter there is than that woodchuck from Pennsylvania.

You ruin everything with your negativity. Be more like me.

When you're done laughing/vomiting, what's that in your picture there? Looks delightfully Eastern European and tasty.

I wonder how that question will read in the future as your avatar changes.

The return of baseball is awesome. The length and monotony of 6-7 weeks of Spring Training is boring but at least baseball is back.

spring training was only cool when it was this quaint practice attended only by the players, sportswriters and old fart retirees who had moved from their northern cities to death's waiting room. Now, the drunken frat boys think it's a cool way to relive spring breaks of the past. It's an exhibition. I wouldn't pay to see it on a beautiful day in Chicago. I'm certainly not paying to go see it somewhere else.

Spring Training all about Rizzo! Season is about Rizzo! Pressure is on the the 3 headed boy genius for Rizzo!

I don't expect him to be with the team out of camp, but do expect him to be really good in this camp and be with the team by July to see if he is the shit!
