Is it possible? Yes. I'm all zombied out. Left 4 Deads, Resident Evils, Treyarchs Call of Duties mode, Dead Island, Dead Risings, Dead Space, Alan Wake, and the Condemned games. Keep your herbs. Really not interested in this unless there is some interesting new gameplay.

Man, I miss those early RE games. That one scene when you are walking down a hallway and the dogs crash through the window... it's actually the first and perhaps only time a video game has made me squeal like a little girl. The first Silent Hill was pretty creepy too.

Good article explaining the premise of the game.

The meatball in me is pissed that the game is no longer set in Chicago, but rather a made up town called Haventon.

Another Call of Duty? Bleh, boring. Another short, lame campaign, the same multi player that I won't play and some co-op / zombie type survival game that I can figure out how to dominate within an hour of playing. Is it me or do they cater too much to young kids that don't have the patience to play a game that's actually difficult?
I think I'm done with any type of online play for awhile. Get me a good solo game that'll take me months to figure out and finish.

You want a difficult game? Try Dark Souls. I've been so desentitized to easy games that this one is proving to be a real bee-atch. You can pick it up cheap now.

When Ubi makes a games that's actually based on creatively assassinating people, I'll be interested...

...hopefully I've given myself enough time...

You get $10 gift card if you pre-order ME3 and/or SSX through Amazon. Good for anything at Amazon.

lolwut

I see one, maybe two, things on there that would lead a rational thinking person to that conclusion.

All of them are easy to use features of gaming capable PC's except the second to last one. Need me to break each point down?

And almost all of them are already available on the current generation of consoles...and the only one that anyone is suggesting would go away (play used games) is going to be pretty difficult to make go away I would think...

...but please, feel free to break it down if you'd like. :D

I can't disagree about ME2... they diluted the plot lines by adding more characters and side missions (which they always do it seems in both movies and video game sequels). The final boss battle was a joke. But I still genuinely enjoy the world that they created and the primary plot line.

As for a pure RPG vs. the hybrid (RPG/Shooter), I suppose it is all preference. I can't stand Final Fantasy games and JRPGs in general (so take my bias into consideration). I think ME executed the hybrid better than most. I've never played The Witcher so I can't really compare. At the end of the day, I really enjoyed playing ME and I kinda need to know how the story ends, so its a first day purchase for me.

This series will undoubtedly be set in the 20th century by the time I finish AC Brotherhood. I think I remember hearing/reading something about how they wanted to keep moving the series closer and closer to present day time. Could be a good idea since it will allow them the opportunity to make the game truly different from the previous installments (ie weapons, locations, characters).

I honestly would prefer they didn't get too "modern". The use of firearms would be too much of a departure from the current game.

Yes, this is delightful news...and I believe I would be more than happy to upgrade to a newer setup just for this purpose...
