It'll be on FOX no matter what, guys. Tonight, they'll bag "The Simpsons" & "The Office" locally as well as "House" & "Alcatraz" nationally to accommodate the first prime time Daytona 500 ever, weather permitting. It also means a later start for Bob Sirott & Robin Robinson on FOX32 News after the race.

Two things, Frank. First, NBC Universal now owns The Weather Channel. Second, FOX utilizes a "Storm Scout" of their own, KTTV-FOX Los Angeles meteorologist Rick Deigert (sp?) for occasions like yesterday.

They should really leave themselves some kind of loophole to swap the Cup and Nationwide race days if the forcast shows this much rain....like it did a few days before this race was scheduled. Running this race on Tuesday morning is weak. Just pack it up and come back and run it on an off week.
