Haven't you been abducted by a drug cartel yet?

They sent him back. Too Constanza-y.

They should really leave themselves some kind of loophole to swap the Cup and Nationwide race days if the forcast shows this much rain....like it did a few days before this race was scheduled. Running this race on Tuesday morning is weak. Just pack it up and come back and run it on an off week.

UMN, this is the latest they've ever run the Daytona 500. The reason why they scheduled it later was due to the NFL, believe it or not. I think there were scheduling concerns pertaining to the lockout and NASCAR didn't want to schedule their signature race on the same weekend as the Super Bowl, or something along those lines...

WOW! FOX is supposed to bag its regular prime time lineup to accommodate the already rain-delayed Daytona 500. Will FOX push back "American Idol" if they have to race tomorrow?

I know who you're referring. He's ESPN.com's NASCAR reporter.

No, but they'll replace the audio with an all new, very special episode of Glee, and relegate NASCAR to the upper left corner of the screen.

"Glee" isn't on for the next several weeks, guys. However, why was Chicago's own Jane Lynch side by side with Kate Upton? I thought Kate, the SI Swimsuit Cover Model this year, was supposed to be Grand Marshal, not Jane...

Do you hang out with Chris in Joliet while watching Glee?

No. It's my understanding that Lynch & Upton have roles in the upcoming "Three Stooges" movie that Rich "Svengoolie" Koz is definitely opposed.

While we are on the topic, ahem, Upton looks way way worse in real life (on tv real life, not real life real life) than she does of the cover of that magazine.

According to weather.com, the forecast is supposed to improve as the night progresses for Daytona Beach, FL. From everything I heard yesterday watching "NASCAR on FOX" rain delay theater, it's supposed to take up to 2 hours to dry the track. If it rains again in the next hour or two, then what?

SHARK, I heard that it takes upward to 3+ hours to dry the track in the late-afternoon & evening.

Chris Myers conspicously absent from "NASCAR on FOX's Hollywood Hotel". SPEED's John Roberts, usually the host of "NASCAR RaceDay", subbed for Myers with Michael & Darrell Waltrip on the prerace show yesterday.

And Jenna Fryer, Dave Moody, Pete Pistone, Mike Bagley, Bob Pockrass, and Darrell Waltrip.

Doc, you forgot Michael.

Shark, Chris son died, that is the reason he is not there.

I hate Micheal Waltrip. Even reading his posts made me hear his annoying voice.

I know and I like th Fox broadcast better than ESPN's but this could be a deciding factor. 1 Waltrip fine, 2 Waltrip's = bad!!

Thanks, Hawg. That also explained why Steve Byrnes, usually on the pits for "NASCAR on FOX", hosted "NASCAR RaceDay" on Speed yesterday. Needless to say, Steve was a little worse for wear trying to get all those driver interviews during the rain delay yesterday. A case in point came as he was interviewing Tony "Smoke" Stewart and Stewart wouldn't let him in his mobile home as the rain came pouring down.

The rain also appeared to get inside the "NASCAR on ESPN" mobile studio, too. Analyst Rusty Wallace's black sportcoat got a little wet watching "SportsCenter" & ESPNEWS once the race was postponed.

I'm not sure what's worse.

Chris' Glee love or Keeping Score's Taylor Swift fascination.
