WWE News: Raw TV preview - Rock returns, Cena cross-country, Champ vs. Champ re-match teased, Clay & Orton advertised, Hunter-Taker-HBK note, advertised bonus matches



With five weeks to go before WrestleMania 28 on April 1, The Rock returns to Raw TV Monday night for the first of a series of appearances leading up to WWE's biggest PPV of the year.

Arena advertising in Portland, Oregon reads, "Be prepared to be electrified as 'the most electrifying man in entertainment,' The Rock, will make his first ever visit to the city of Portland." WWE is not advertising a specific role for Rock, who is expected to deliver a big return promo in response to Cena's big promo at the end of last week's Raw.

As for Cena, he is expected to appear on Raw after starting the day across the country in Florida for the Daytona 500 race.

WWE seemingly tied up Cena's role in the Zack Ryder-Kane-Eve issue, which will likely continue to be fleshed out along with the top wrestling feud between C.M. Punk and Chris Jericho leading to WrestleMania.

No matches have officially been announced, but WWE has teased a Punk vs. Daniel Bryan "Champion vs. Champion" re-match after their second TV encounter ended with a non-finish on Tuesday's live Smackdown episode.

WWE will also have follow-up on the co-Mania main event of The Undertaker vs. Triple H, although Taker is not advertised for the taping. Hunter is advertised for Raw, though, and both Taker and Shawn Michaels are advertised for next week's Raw in Boston.

-- Brodus Clay, who returned to Raw touring this past weekend, is advertised for the taping. The Funk has been off TV for nearly one month.

-- Smackdown stars scheduled to appear include Randy Orton, who is scheduled to be "re-evaluated" for a concussion at the TV taping, World Hvt. champion Daniel Bryan, Sheamus, Big Show, and IC champion Cody Rhodes.

-- Advertised for the live crowd in Portland is a double main event of WWE champion C.M. Punk vs. Dolph Ziggler and John Cena vs. Kane
