Personally, I am pulling for the Gout. Painful, but manageable with proper diet etc. I'll let the other possibilities go without speculation as they pretty much start at real bad and get worse from there.

When Matt cryptically referenced the show's long time stand on getting well (they have always been supportive of counseling,anger management,mental health and rehab issues) I thought it was a rehab stint that will keep him off the air "for some time." Watch for Rob Feder to cover it soon.

At least we know Mac will tell the story once he's back, which hopefully is soon
