You've completely turned on Mac, huh?

MJH never happened?

I gave him a ton of chances. He made it clear that I am not his target demo. It's cool. I usually listen to the WSCR previous night's podcast (usually Holmes) and then Rome or W&S. They don't have to pretend to like basketball or movies/music made this century.

I actually like Speigs matched up with anyone else but Mac.

Spiegs and Rozner sound like they want to take it outside. What the hell?

From the little I heard previously, there has been some tension there. I side with Rozner. Fuck a pre-show meeting. Is that what they are arguing about now?

Why was it ok with MJH?

Not really sure to tell you the truth. More balance with the other hosts maybe? Maybe I've grown tired of it. I don't know. If he is done, I'd actually be pretty happy about it. Not because I dislike him, but because it would open things up to some other talented guys at the Score...

What if the choice was Mac and Jurko or Spiegel and Goff?

Just popped on the stream. I honestly don't know what they at odds about, but it sounds petty coming over the air waves/stream.

If I remember correctly, when Mac was forced out up the dial, he said that the "Mac, Jurko & Harry" show got kinda stale after awhile...

That's tough. I'd give equal time until there was a clear winner...

Rozner kept carrying on this unfunny joke to some caller in NW Illinois, about the location of his hometown. Just kept dragging it on and on. Finally Spiegs said, in his serious tone, to knock it off. Rozner got in another crack, even after that. Hence me now listening to Wilco's Roadcase.

Rozner often has a two-Hanley quality to him.

This sounds like a train wreck (though I'm not listening). Speigs is already too uptight. combine that with sleep deprivation and his sugar daddy out and may not return. he has to be about ready for a nervous breakdown.

Even though they call it the "McNeil/Spiegel Show" now, I wonder how much longer before Spiegs takes the wheel and drives the show full time as the "Spiegel Show"...

Given Mac's tastes and his generosity (e.g., picking up dinner tabs for fat matt and crew all over nyc), I'm guessing financially Mac's about as able to retire as Allen Iverson is.

Mix that with a gambling problem and a "recession contract" and you just may have some long-term financial problems.

Well, Mac's made no secret of his love to "go to the window" and put some money down...You know, wagering...

He always wins, despite what some people on a message board might say.

Mac cashing his paycheck at the currency exchange? With ATMs every few feet and every biz taking plastic, why carry around tons of cash.

Plastic is on its way out Hussra

But yeah, there was no need for the kind of wad he had.

I doubt he'd be holding out if he had financial issues.

It was a pre-recorded interview with new White Sox bench coach Mark Parent.

I think there is a time limit to how long you can talk to Parent and they exceeded it. He ran out of coherent thoughts yet kept talking. Help the guy out already and ask him something short and simple and then end it.
