We got two good pre-conference games that look pretty attractive for a CSFMB outing this year. I could sponsor a tailgate as always, but I'm unlikely to get free tickets like I got a couple of years ago. Any interest in heading out to Evanston on a sunny September day? The two best options look like:

Saturday 09/08/12 - Vanderbilt Commodores
or
Saturday 09/15/12 - Boston College Eagles

There is also a game on 9/22/2012, but that's against South Dakota Coyotes, which I'm guessing won't appeal. However, that is a game I bet I could get some free tix (or heavily discounted tix).

I am interested. I can take the train down from Waukegan. I like watching games there.

I'm guessing 11:00 AM, but those games might be interesting enough to get 2:30 PM treatment. Doubt they'd use a 7:00 PM game on that. I think they are allowed a finite number of those based on Evanston law.

2:30, I could probably pull off. His games start at 9:00 and would be done with around 10:30 or so. Hopefully it can be worked out.

Might I suggest you all choose the Vandy game. It will be a rare opportunity to see the greatness that is Jordan Rodgers up close before his imminent hall of fame NFL career.

Looks like the Vanderbilt game should be a good one... 7 PM start time should make it a bit more fun. Any thoughts on which game? The other games likely have a 11:00 AM start time
