I gave up booze. So far, so good. I had a glass of wine at a work dinner b/c I didn't want to get into it with my colleagues. couple of times after work I really could have really used a drink, but did not. I think I can safely say that I am not an alcoholic, yet. Unfortunately, I am just as tired and irritable as usual. Maybe I have a gluten intolerance.

Don't do the lent thing. I do give up for beer during tax season. I will be six weeks sober this Sunday. Though I will be an absolute shit show for March Madness. That's when I end my annual sober streak.

Gave up all snacks,both afternoon and nighttime. Take the money I save and put it in envelope on Easter. I am doing real good.Only time I am tempted is watching Hawks games.
I also am giving up booze and that is going well.I do see it being put to the test on St Patty's day weekend.

No meat since Lent began. It's easier than I thought it would be. Wendy's has the best Fish Filet of any fast food restaurants. It's a shame they don't offer it year round.

I gave up listening to Mully and Hanley. It's working out great since I never listen to them anyway. You don't think God will have the last laugh on that, do you?

Usually I give up paying income tax, but that only works in certain years when Easter falls after April 15.

Maybe sometime I should give up sarcasm. But what if after Lent is over I don't remember how to speak or write anymore?

This no booze thing is killing me. I swear, Easter morning I am going to get soused.
