No doubt. If he could shoot he would easily be the best PG in the game.

He's the younger, blacker version of Jason Kidd.

You throw enough shit in the air, some of it will probably go in the hoop. Kidd can't shoot and should never have shot as many three pointers as he did. Rondo at least knows he can't shoot and avoids chucking it from downtown.

He's a hard headed diva and his teammates and coaches don't like him. He had the same problem in Kentucky.

Wrong. Kidd couldn't shoot very well in his first few years, but in the last few years he has developed an outside shot, and he is smart enough to know when to take it.

Kidd is a good comparison when it comes to rebounding. Rondo is a great defender. The best at his position.

He is a career 35% 3P shooter with a few years over 40%. That isn't terrible.

He's reinvented his game as he's gotten in his late thirties. He was a bad shooter in his formative years and prime.

I'd like to point out that his FG%'s have been fairly consistent throughout his career, as the factual statistics will help prove.

Nope. Compare his last four seasons with his career average.

Add Deron Williams to the list of shout outs with his 57 points

I think Rondo's line was more impressive but yeah 57 is phenomenal regardless of the competition. I can't wait to watch Williams regularly next year in Dallas.

Without a doubt Rondo's line was better.

.395 in the last 4 years
.401 in his career up to that.

You were saying?

I thought we were discussing 3 point shooting.

You first mentioned Kidd could hit a 3 pointer. His first 10 years in the league he was inconsistent at best. He was never known as a good 3 point shooter til his late 30's.

Maybe a miscommunication. You had responded he was better in the last 4 years after I was talking about his FG% in general. And I brought up overall FG% because you had stated he became a good "shooter," which I take as a term related to overall shooting ability.

There were a lot of lay ups in there. They would leave him open and dare him to shoot. He really couldn't knock down the outside shot.

agreed..teams will back off him on the arc..kidd can not hit that shot consistent enough and neither can rondo.
