I'm a Colts fan as you know by now, but here are my thoughts on the Bears getting Keyshawn. I'm I off base here guys?

I find it a bit odd all the "Keyshawn's no good anymore" talk. Uh..not saying he is great or the Keyshawn of old, but he did have 70 catches last year which happens to be more than any other Bear. Not saying he'd be the best Bears WR on the team (they had to catch Rex throws, not Delhomme ones), but saying he could hold his own and if Moose were to get hurt there'd still be a security blanket receiever for youg Rex. The Bears have the cap room. The Bears are close to a SuperBowl win. I wouldn't dismiss this idea as soon as you 3 did.

I think a point that needs to be thought of is Panthers are not a very good running team and have a pretty dam good quarterback in Delhomme. Bears, I like to think want to run 3 or 4 yards other than throwing a quick slant to get those same 3 to 4 yards. Could be a good fit, but offensive scheme would have to change to make him usable.

Not to bust your balls WR as everyone seems a tad bit touchy today, but should a thread be starting for every sports related topic MJH touches on??

I would bet the Bears would think about it if they would be able to free up some cap room by releasing Moose and picking Keyshawn off the scrap heap. Anything to save a little $ and maybe have some extra to pay Lance.

Why not? They don't happen that often anymore.
MJH seem far too busy honing their lack of musical talent.

NotInTheBiz, we used to discuss sports topics taking place on the show instead of all the soap opera shit thats covered on here now. I was trying to bring the section back to a place of normalcy.

The Bears have so much cap room. They could easily keep Moose and Keyshawn. Depth is so important in this league and the Bears are too close right now to not make some move for now. Keyshawn would be a nice piece. Again, I mention he caught 70 balls last year, more than any other Bear. The guy can still play. He'll go over the middle and get you tough first downs.

Normalcy be damned. Know what's bullshit? That Score is Doomed's quote-function works correctly.

Agreed. Make this your new thing. It used to be streaming radio. Now it's on to quote functionability.

Good thought, Ryan. Yeah, what's the real cost and cap hit to signing Keyshawn to a training camp tryout? Some team surely will.

off topic, but I think Score is Doomed purposely uses the quote function so much to rub it in the rest of our faces.
