So do I have this right? He has nixed "edgy" bits that might offend? He has nixed on-air criticism of Salisbury & Rosenbloom? Even if I think some of MJH's bits and comments are insensitive, I'm not going to suggest they be muzzled. Criticism and discussions of disagreement make for good radio.

Here is a classic example of a kid who seemingly doesn't understand that the flagship program he inherited has been successful in part because his predecessors allowed it to be edgy and to criticize its own. Time to start an over/under on when the Boob from Bristol gets moved further up the Peter Principle ladder and shuffled back to the mothership.

Any chance a bootleg of the parody song could make it to this board?

If nothing less, the lyrics should find their way here.

It looks like Rick Majerus has a future as a Program Director if he resigns from his latest coaching job soon:

The format of Baseball tonight is terrible.

I thought programming tonight was kinda dumb too.

Motor sports 7-8
Carmen & JD 8-9
Carmen & JD Baseball tonight 9-11

Why not let Carmen & JD do a show 8-11?

Spaulding, tonight I swore I heard three programs start every hour...one at 7 (Motorsports Weekly), a different one at 8 (JD & Carm) and then another one (Baseball tonight) at 9. I finally I turned it off, figuring no programming could be this screwed up and I must be all confuzzled because I am on drugs. Now you're telling me that's really the way it went down? To hell with my painkillers, I want some of the stuff L. Justin is smoking to dream up this clusterfumble.

I'm obviously stone cold sober and we have the same story. You weren't hearing things, that's what happened.

Great point. This is why I still spend most of my time down the dial, major flaws aside. At what point will the ESPN-ized board members begin to see things this way?

The only time of day that my dial is on 1000, is weekdays 3-7.
