when I was in Elementary School, there was a kid who would pick up one word of what you would say and he would repeat it, with a different first or second word.

"Nice Rose" Me
"Pete Rose!" That Kid
"Rose Water" That kid

That kid was in the special education class.

Except back int he day it didnt have disease names or blamed flour for the kid being sllooowwww.

Both. There was the real Lionel Jefferson, played by Mike Evans. Then there was a communist spy Lionel Jefferson, played by Damon (no relation) Evans.

There were two George Jeffersons, too. The first was played by Sherman Helmsley from 1973-1985. The 2nd George was played by Darkside from 2006-current.
