With the exception of Gloop and Sid I don't really see anybody else being a scumbag. Given what we know or think we know, none of these guesses are completely crazy. It's also possible that some one here that knows what's going on will tell us yes/no. I don't think all speculation on his absence, whether it is due to substance abuse, family issues, mental health, or anything else, is not filled with contempt.

If you question is would I rather have a somewhat serious but possibly uncomfortable but purely speculatory conversation about a radio host that I have enjoyed on a personal and professional level opposed reading a probable malevolent joke then my answer would be, a thousand times, yes.

It is surprising that in this day & age of technology & immediate communication that the reason for Macs leave of absence is still a secret. Many people must know about this & none of them have slipped or leaked information.
