It's gotta fall under HIPAA regs.

Only for people regulated by HIPPA regs. Friends & co-workers are not.

For example, Kid Cairo has the flu. I just told you that. His doctor could not tell you that without express written consent.

That's too bad. Please tell Cairo I hope he feels better (if that's allowed.)

And to make matters worse (not that there's anything wrong with it), it seems to be a homosexual flu.

Most people here don't like Waddle. I think he's improved since the first year or so. Still won't go out on a limb but I find him funny at times.

rozner takes a shot at Mac during Hit and Run.

Meat says he won't be on next week because he'll be returning from Ireland then. Roz says that at least he will be at 50% of the first 4 shows, and that is much better than some other people at the station. LOL. Meat apparently gave him a dirty look, and Roz said that he had to agree, Meat mumbled yeah.

I actually like Waddle. He plays the role of buffoon well, and has enough sports knowledge to warrant his stay.

This is why I believe that a contract/show tweaking/wanting to quit/pouting situation is not out of the realm of possibility concerning Danny " The Situation" Mac.

It all goes back that innocent Facebook post by another radio guy that "went through the same thing with CBS" when he worked with Kevin Matthews.....

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

If this truly is about McNeil playing hardball with the suits, then he is delusional. This is 2012, not 2002. I could see McNeil pulling this in 2002 at 1000 because he had a hot show that was bringing in solid ratings and was helping to make WMVP a respectable competitor to WSCR. If I remember correctly, the Afternoon Saloon started to beat B&B consistently in the ratings book. The Afternoon Saloon helped bring more local programming to WMVP. The Danny Mac Show, or whatever it is called now, has not brought the Score back from the brink. The Score was doing fine and well in 2009 when he came back. I liked Dan when he was partnered with Terry and then with Jurko and yes, Harry. I admit I don't listen to his latest show because I don't like Speigel at all. I think this is a bad play play by Dan because he doesn't have the same hot show he once had nor the leverage he might have had.

What if there was a body switching incident with his son who is at college a la Vice Versa or Life Father, Like Son?

If I remember correctly, the opposite is true. Score number went down when Dan left. Score numbers rose across the board when he returned.

Actually has very little sports knowledge outside of the NFL and is mailing it in! They pay him some big money $375K for his 1/2 point of view.

If they canned him tomorrow, he could care less, he would go find a TV gig, NFL network, Fox, etc

You know, all the gig he already has! If ESPN dropped him to below $200K, he would just leave

I said the Score was doing fine and well when he came back in '09, not when he left in '99. There wasn't the station upheaval, which was the main reason he left. Those "Double D's" shows were brutal and McNeil sounded so much more disinterested then than now. The Score lineup was pretty much set when he came back and I'm pretty sure the Score lineup was beating everything 1000 was throwing at them, even the show that McNeil took over for.

I know for a fact that is not true. B and B were behind MJH for something like 90% of the ratings books they went head to head. I believe the strength of MJH went beyond their show with some other ESPN show beating the Score and ESPN beating the Score overall

Reread my original post....I said that the Afternoon Saloon was beating B&B regularly in the ratings.

Harry partied too much. I didn't think he could change or it would be easy...but it looks like he has. I wish him continued success.

And Mac just goes to choir practice every Tuesday?

I think what ever it is must be heinous to keep all the ALSers quiet. Child porn? Assaulting someone he caught in bed with his wife? Unfortunate bar incident w/ drunken disorderly arrest? DUI accident where someone was hurt?

You guys were all dancing on Tiny's grave, but when the ass you like to lick has issues you all clam up.

BTW, if you look, I did predict that Tiny would go to rehab and get his old job back like nothing ever happened.

There is a huge difference here. We knew what was going on with Tiny. No one knows what is going on with Mac right now. Everything is pure speculation.

Someone pull up the thread. I remember a lot of people wishing him well and considering it good in his life while also calling him an asshole for driving drunk, blaming a valet and trying to big time a cop.

I find it hard to believe that NOONE in the ALS club knows what is going on.
