Got the #1 guy they've needed forever. But now who else?

Signed: vjax, Stevie, colston, garcon, josh morgan, Harry Douglas

Close to signing: meachem and royal

Hopefully somebody gets cut because they need more than Marshall and a draft pick for wr.

Anyone I'm missing? Not pressing the panic button just wanted to see a few wr's acquired today. Forgot Laurent Robinson.

Actually, they are in decent shape with Marshall, Bennett, a high draft choice and Hester as their top 4 WR. They probably need to add another one who is mainly a ST guy. Kaseem Osgood just got cut and he is renowned for his ST play.

I expect the will go bargain hunting after the draft. My guy is Steve Smith who will be looking to bounce back from an injury but caught 100 passes two years ago

Forget Hester as a WR. I doubt he will ever play the position again.

agreed...marshall and stephen hill with earl bennet is solid 1-3 with hester as a 4th should make this offense pretty damn good...just need a left tackle and a tight end.

As good as the Marshall trade is, I really hope the Bears don't stop there with the receivers. Having a real #1 option at receiver is good, but looking at most of the top teams in the NFL it's clear having more than one high level receiver makes an offense truly dangerous. The Packers, Giants, Patriots, Saints and so on all have that. I don't expect to be on that level but I hope there's an honest effort made to get another difference maker in the receiver category.

I have to disagree. While he is not a #1, when he is on the field he always has the attention of a safety to help over the top. You may not see it on TV, but at a game when he makes a break downfield he still has the ability to change the coverage. One or two early shots to him will make a defense nervous and open up mor room for Marshall and Bennett.
