I agree with the title of this thread. Bulls need players that care about winning.

QBO, I was just about to start a angry D. Howard thread with this article. This guy is a major league loser....FUCK HIM!!

http://aol.sportingnews.com/nba/story/2 ... cago-bulls

The Orlando Magic are not enamored with the packages they could get from the New Jersey Nets, Dallas Mavericks or Los Angeles Lakers—the three teams understood to be on Dwight Howard’s list of preferred teams—and would rather trade the All-Star big man to the Chicago Bulls, CBS Sports.com reports. But talks between Orlando and Chicago have gained little traction since Howard is not willing to make a long-term commitment to the Bulls, according to the report.

The Bulls, sources tell CBS Sports, could offer Omer Asik, Luol Deng and Carlos Boozer for Howard and Hedo Turkoglu. Chicago also has a Charlotte Bobcats first-round pick, but it’s top-14 protected this year and not unprotected until 2016.

The Magic wants to make a deal with the Bulls because of the assets they can offer, but Howard isn't willing to sign a long-term contract with Chicago. (AP Photo) But Chicago is "not on his list," a source told CBS, and the Bulls are not willing to part with those assets without assurance that Howard will sign a new contract with them. The two teams have spoken, but there’s "no type of serious discussions" happening, a source said.

The CBS report does not say why Howard doesn’t want to play in Chicago. Howard previously implied, albeit unconvincing, that he was open to playing with the Bulls and point guard Derrick Rose. "If I could play with Derrick right now and God wanted that to happen, it will happen,” Howard told the Chicago Tribune in January. “It has nothing to do with me not wanting to play with Derrick Rose. I love him. That's my brother.''

Yahoo! Sports reported in December that Adidas is exerting its influence on where Howard ends up and that the shoe company does not want Howard and Rose—its two primary NBA endorsers—playing in the same market. Howard has denied this.

Hoopsworld’s Alex Kennedy offers this, via Twitter, “Why doesn't Dwight Howard want to play in Chicago? He wants to be the man, not sidekick. Derrick Rose, hometown kid with MVP, outshines him.

“Don't get me wrong, Howard wants help. He knows he can't win a championship alone. With that said, he wants to be the face of the franchise.”

The hell with him! Can you imagine having power to tell Orlando Magic head coach Stan Van Gundy & G.M. Otis Smith to get lost? There have been rumors that the Magic might try to keep Dwight Howard in the fold, but Howard might have a huge say in the coach & general manager's future...Are you kidding me?!

At this point I don't think I would touch him with a 10 ft pole. He is just going to mess
things up with the Bulls. Tie an anchor around his neck and let the Magic sink.

I did that playing basketball in gym when I was in high school. My knees touched when I fell. I thought I tore a few things and everyone playing thought I did too. After about 30 mins it didn't really hurt. By the next day I didn't feel any pain. Looks nasty.

i would trade for the guy in a heartbeat..he is the best big in the league..adidas is telling him to not go to chicago..which sucks ..orlando is dumb and should have moved him earlier and got something in return..fuck vangundy...if howard leaves it will be like in 96 when shaq left and the magic got nothing in return....if you have to pick a mediocre coach or a great center...the great center wins every time

What are you talking about? The Magic aren't the ones doing the picking here. It's all Dwight Howard. He isn't coming back.

they should have surrounded him with a better team..if the best player on your team and the coach don't get along ...then the coach goes.

Thats a perfect team to surround a dominant center with.

Star PG
Good outside shooters
Another Banger to held dominate the boards.

they didn't suck...they won alot of games.. but that team was too reliant on the 3..when the 3's don't fall you lose

I think your whole statement was absurd, but I'll just go with:

1. Shaq only had one post move
2. Penny Hardaway was overrated

I don't know what league you were watching if you thought Penny Hardaway was overrated.

Edit: And they weren't reliant on the 3. They just happened to have quite a few three-point shooters. Dennis Scott, Donald Royal, Brian Shaw, Penny Hardaway, and Nick Anderson all could stroke it.

Penny was the best young PG in the league until he career was ruined with injuries. Shaq drew double and triple teams all night, and all of the rest of the guys killed teams with 3's. If that team stayed together, they easily win a couple championships.

shaq did only have one post move BACK THEN...it was a dunk...hardaway was good not great...it is easy to look better than you are when you have a superstar getting double and triple teamed...and penny was one of the worst 3 point shooters i have ever seen

Someone told me that they thought you were JBills. There's no way. His sports thoughts were not this dumb.

And you needed to bump this thread for a vapid, empty, "stating the obvious" statement such as that?
