When Carmelo came back, and Baron Davis was finally healthy, the team began to suck. I can't believe he got forced out like that.

This is going to be awesome. It's obvious he's the main reason why D'Antoni resigned. He's going to get killed if they fail to make the playoffs or get bounced in the first round.

Personally, I'd still take Carmelo right now. Aside from everything else, the guy can still score whenever he wants. Would've been nice to have that in the last 5 minutes in Game 5 last season.

And it's not like he's the first player to get a coach fired/resigned.

I remember there being some hand wringing, but not a lot of it. I think people were mostly baffled by how the Bulls botched that interview process.

If you remember it's because I wanted Thibodeau, and you said he was a career assistant and Collins was the better choice. I don't think I was completely wrong.
