Laurence is not gay. He's an akward comic book nerd who never had much luck with the ladies. He perpetuates a persona completely opposite of what he REALLY is.

He wants to come off as a cool 30 something guy who is single by choice and dates a lot.


The thing is he has like NO experience with women, so he sounds weird talking about them because he's working off of Tv, movies, music, and Second hand stories from guys he knows.


Is he fronting? Yes
Is he hurting anybody? Not really

That's why LoHo is obviously the greatest player at the station. Just look at his supporting cast. Everybody says, "danny bernstein makes the players around him better." I say, Why does Laurence have to make Herb and Joe O. better while danny gets to make Jason and Matty better?
