LONDON -- Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba was essentially dead after he suffered cardiac arrest during a match last weekend and needed 15 shocks to get his heart beating again.

Bolton team doctor Jonathan Tobin revealed Wednesday that doctors tried unsuccessfully to revive Muamba for 48 minutes before he arrived at London Chest Hospital, after collapsing during an FA Cup game March 17 against Tottenham. It took another 30 minutes before the 23-year-old Muamba's heart started beating again after 15 shocks.

1 hour and 18 minutes this guy was dead as a door nail before finally being resusitated. Amazing.

But a few friends and I got that ppv and split the cost....I felt a little ripped off that I didnt get to see the fall.

My buddy got that PPV and was recording it on his VHS and after it happened we went back and watched it like the Zapruder film. Can't really tell much of what happens but once the announcers got legimately shook up you knew it was bad.

WWE has that footage somewhere. It exists. There are tens of cameras pointed at every area of the arena at every show. A WWE camera picked that up. It'll never see the light of day, but it exists.

Don't you think they would have destroyed something like that? I mean I agree it did exist, but I would think Vince would destroy it just to make sure it never saw the light of day.

Zizou, by chance are you Greek? The only reason I ask is because I always had the baseball/soccer argument with my Greek buddy. Neither of us were successful in selling the other on each other's sport, but we had basketball as a common ground of sorts.
