Radio hosts playing a game in studio? Wow
Whats next? Live broadcast of a producers poker game?

Credit for trying something new. But. Keep it

1 of the Radio hosts is actually in the studio. That is an accomplishment. Baby steps.

It seems to be an attempt to change up Sports Jeopardy, when Bing and Bong didn't know anything.

That was a train wreck. If you're looking for that game, it's being FedEx-ed right now from The SCORE's 2 Prudential Plaza to the new home of the Museum of Broadcast Communications on State Street.

The game went well.

But so might a game of Go FISH, doesnt make it good radio.

It is like 3 Game parlays or Norths 1,2,3,

This is where a guy like Shep needs to step up and initiate a season long contest for baseball

And this is why the pre-show planning meetings are so important.

What about BALLS DEEP,because you know that's pretty much what every softball team names themselves. Homos.

Step 1 - Think of good idea and contest
Step 2 - Ask Mitch for sponsor/ prize
Step 3 - Bring to meeting.
Step 4 - conduct contest.

I know I am not a radio professional, but I did sleep at a holiday inn and don't think creating something for a season long baseball contest is really that hard.

More meetings, that's what's needed. More meetings, a more rigid pre-production, a bigger emphasis on silent nuance. Radio as theater of the subconscious.

What you are not aware of is that to have a bigger prize, you need to get that approved. The bigger the prize the more $$$ and then they look for sponsors. A bigger prize, bigger contest takes planning and approvals.

But yes, this is what we in the world call having a job!
