Hooters stopped because they lost money on the deal. No cover and you had 4 teens sitting at a table for 4 hours drinking soda with free refills and one order of fries.

Too bad the first decent promo from both sides for this match is in front of such a poor crowd.

Thanks Terry's Peeps, I think the Rock followed it up and now Cena is bringing it.

Slight edge to Cena. Rock picked it up after Cena came out.

Beginning was bad though.

Too quick to end the show after the promo's, and if that show got you excited, Wrestlemania is Sunday.

I wish they would have done more.

No Triple H-Taker on the show, Rock-Cena had promo's against each other but no physical, and same with Punk-Jericho, the only match that got pushed was the 12 man tag match.

According to several backstage sources, there was a lot (and we mean a whole lot) of talk behind the scenes this week in WWE about whether or not HHH, Shawn Michaels, and The Undertaker should appear on the go-home RAW tonight. According to a key WWE insider, Vince McMahon's feeling, which was echoed by HHH, was that the storyline was set perfectly last week, and even if the story peaked a week too early, the soap opera is perfect for WrestleMania and anything this week would water it down.

Vince also felt anything that HHH and Undertaker would do this week would take away from the feeling of how special their appearances are, and while the CM Punk vs Chris Jericho and Cena vs Rock matches were spotlighted on Raw, that the HHH vs Undertaker match is "ready to go" and, as several producers were told at Raw, "this will be a match for the ages."

While the entire WrestleMania show has only been tentatively timed out, Vince McMahon is said to be very happy with the event. For those wondering, HHH vs Undertaker is not the last match of the night. As most would assume, Rock vs Cena will be the final match of the evening according to the most recent version of the script.

If you're near the NW Suburbs, Chicago City Limits on Wise Rd in Schaumburg shows it. I think The Stadium on Algonquin does as well.

Not sure about there...

A quick check of their calendar online says no.

Mania go home Raw was a 3.0 - absolutely unbelievable.

I'm pretty sure none of the Guest GM raw's ever did under a 3

Dr. Ken and ZZ Top are now better draws then Rocky?

-------

-- Last night's Rock vs. Cena one-hour special consisted of 90% Rock footage from his DVD, and 90% new John Cena footage.

----------

- As noted on Raw last night, Monday's Hall of Fame TV broadcast at 8 PM before Raw will feature highlights of the Edge, Mike Tyson and Horseman inductions. Might be kind of wacky to see Hunter and Shawn up there playing DX for the Tyson induction if Shawn ends up somehow accidentally screwing Hunter in the Undertaker match at Mania.

-- They did a post-Raw angle where Miz came out and demanded the Rock apologize to him for giving him the People's Elbow at last year's WrestleMania. Rock's apology consisted of giving it to him again.

Flair cleared for Hall of Fame

Both WWE and TNA separately announced that Ric Flair would be attending the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony on Saturday night in Miami.

Flair was going to attend either way, but the two sides had to negotiate what and how much he would be allowed to do, as far as giving a speech, appearing on television and appearing in the DVD. There had been negotiations going on for weeks and the sides had verbally agreed to terms at some point last week, as to what Flair could do and what WWE would do in exchange. Neither side has released the terms at this point. The announcement was held off until today because WWE wanted everything signed and sealed before making the announcement.

Down from a 3.84 last year.

Mania could be the biggest flop since the XFL.

Just finished watching RAW from last night... I fell asleep right before Punk/Christian segment. That was a really boring show.

Highlights:
Cody Rhodes promo
Jericho promo ---> Christian beatdown
Cena promo/Rock interaction. Started slow but ended up being well done.

Everything else sucked. Bad. That being said I think this is actually a pretty strong Mania card and there are a few matches that have a chance to be showstealers. I am actually really looking forward to it. I know I say that every year

I know I do. But this year is different - I am actually not looking forward to it for once. I don't have any expectations on any match so I can't be let down this year. Hence my Wrestling Inverse theory in the other thread.

Shoeless hasn't had it in quite a while. The 2 places out in the Schaumpton area are City Limits or Hoffman Lanes.
