All this greatness about K Love, yet the TWolves did not want to Max extend him?

They offered him a 3 year deal for $48 mill to start?

They must be idiots?

Swing and a miss... 0-2

Love was adamant about being able to opt-out after 3 years. He got a 4 year deal. With a 3 year opt out, there is no difference between a 4 or 5 year deal. He's gone in 3 years. If he would've wanted 5 years without the 3 year opt out clause, the T'Wolves would've given it to him immediately.

Not to mention "they must be idiots?" when referring to Minnesota management is somewhat rhetorical.

D bag, you are so 100% wrong on this!!!!! All media reports and Love's agent reported he wanted a 5 year Max deal!

Maybe you and Keyzer can exchange drunken sources?

Saw it every where, including his agent saying they wanted a 5 year Max deal. ESPN reported it, TBS reported it. I know you watch every NBA game and every NBA report, just not sure how you missed this one?

Love took 22 shots tonight.

8 of the 22 from beyond 3.

5 more from inside the 3 point line, but outside the lane.

Leaving 9 shots. He got 4 OR, which I will assume he put back up for a shot.

Leaving him 5 shots from the post in some fashion, could be cutting to the hoop, etc.

if less than 25% of his shots are coming from either post ups or driving, he is just not the complete player some like to claim he is.

Obviousely he can shoot and rebound.

What I think he does not do well.
-Create his own shot
-Shoot off the dribble
-True back to the basket post game, which he does not have to have, but to get paid max as a 6'10", you either create a shot and call for a double team, or command it down low.

-One more issue I noticed on his shot chart is that all but one of his shots are coming from the left side? would make one think he was a lefty.

However, I am quite sure he isn't a lefty.

Similar to paying Chandler the max money, you want to, but just can't because you know he lacks some skills. that you need to win.

Love will force a sign and trade in 3 years to NYC.

I never once have heard someone describe him as a complete player. That's silly. He's a phenomenal rebounder and a great scorer.

It's sorta funny though that you want him to play inside more yet one of your biggest critiques is "can't shoot off the dribble"

I dont want to play him inside, just saying he doesnt. I am saying that if he is the Max player he thinks he is, he scores off the dribble and commands a double team because of his ability to drive if you play up on him.

Fact remains he wanted a max deal (Despite Dbags claims) and his own team felt he was not worth it.

Love with 40 and 19 tonight. It's too bad he is just good and not great. Maybe he could've had 50 and 25 if he banged inside some more.

don't forget the other Wolves players combined shot a sparkling 19/50 (.380) compared to Love's 14/31 (.451) , including his 4-7 from 3
should have hit Wayne Ellington for more open jumpers, maybe he could finished better than 0-5, eventually would have hit something i'm sure
