I originally had this in the news thread, but figured it's more fitting here.

I've stopped going in with really high expectations. First, we expect too much. Whenever I watch old stuff on Classics, or DVD, I think about how we would be shitting all over it if we had the Internet access. I'm not accepting mediocrity, but I want to start enjoying it again. It's similar to the reason I don't read most of the sports radio talk on this board now.

It's setup to where I legitimately don't know who's going over in most of the matches. That is a victory for creative. The counter to that could be they make such nonsensical decisions, of course you don't know what will happen. The top three matches have six, or seven if you include HBK, guys that will give every last damn thing they have Sunday. Plus, Randy Orton is facing KANE! If you don't get pumped for that, you don't have a pulse. Wrestlemania fever. I think it officially started.

I try not to get geeked up for it, but I can't help it. It was such a huge part of my childhood that I always go in excited for it. But I really think that there are some good matches laid out and we will be talking about this one for awhile - in a good way hopefully! :P

GM Tag Match - Not Interested
Divas Match - Not Interested
Show-Rhodes - Mildly Interested
HHH-Taker - Mildly Interested
Bryant-Sheamus - Interested
Punk-Jericho - Interested
Cena-Rock - Interested

There's talk about HBK screwing HHH at Mania and then HHH challenging HBK to a match at WrestleMania 29.

With 8 matches and a 4 hour event ( about 3:45 in reality), get a lot of wrestling or get a lot of filler.

I don't see the women's match going long, Menonous is hurt and they don't let the women wrestle long either.

I could see Rock-Cena and Jericho-Punk going awhile, possibly 30 minutes for Rock-Cena and 25 Jericho-Punk.

Punk-Jericho - Interested - edge of my seat can't wait for this match.
Cena-Rock - Interested - very interested only because I can't believe I am rooting for Cena

I will say on the women's match, they had a good one to setup, a Beth Phoenix-Kharma match would be must-see if a women's match can be must see.

I almost wonder if we will ever see Kharma back again.

Terry's Peeps, the thought about HBK screwing Triple H is the prevailing idea out there and if that happens, that would ruin this match.

They haven't had a good build for this match, with Taker basically taunting Triple H to get him into the match, then made Hell in a Cell, and adding Michaels to this match.

"@SethMates: Thinking about timing the #WrestleMania show - PPV will be about 3 hours, 45 mins. Figure 1:30 to 1:45 of that for opening, entrances, interviews, vignettes, commercials, celebrations, etc ... that leaves about 2 hrs or so of in-ring time. So assume 2:00 of in-ring time. Assume Rock-Cena, HHH-Taker and Punk-Jericho average out to 23 mins each. Leaves 51 mins of in-ring time. If Sheamus-Bryan goes 14, 10-man tag goes 12, Orton-Kane go 11, Cody-Show go 8, divas go 6, there's your show. (this is purely bell-to-bell)"

Yeah it is, all my daughters are looking forward to it. And I am thrilled to be able to watch it with them. Some of my favorite memories of being a kid are watching wrestling with my dad. Monday nights with Gorilla and Bobby Heenan were our favorite times.

I'm going to have to teach my son at quite a young age that there is nothing wrong with pro wrestling despite what his mother might say.

 That's awesome. that actually makes sense with the times too.

I looked at the guys on the roster without a spot and they could do this. seems way too easy.

Usos vs Primo and Epico (c)
Brodus vs Tyson

Over the Top Rope (it's not a Battle Royal) Challenge
1. ADR
2. Riley
3. Hawkins
4. Evan
5. Goldust
6. JTG
7. Mason
8. Hennig
9. Reks
10. Skip
11. Hunico
12. Camacho
13. Zeke
14. Heath
15. Jinder
16. Gabriel
17. Baretta
18. Regal
19. Yoshi
20. Ricardo

DL: Christian, LCW, Sin Cara, Ted jr, Wade. That accounts for everyone except the chicks, the screaming eagle, and Pete Rose.

I would pay another $10-15 to watch the hall of fame cermony before Wrestlemania. Don't really want to have to buy the DVD.

Great seeing Ric Flair at our hotel. JJ Dillon too. Barry Windham looks great as does Tully Blanchard. Love the 4 Horsemen...WWE HOF'ers!

Outstanding!

So.....about the Undertaker's lack of hair. Will he be in a Kane wig or will he go bald? If he is bald its going to look awfully weird.

Bald. It's going to be a big reveal at the beginning of the match. I would think they had to test the look out. They're not going to have him go out there and look like a bald stooge.

*** Two big names rumored for WM28

By James Caldwell, PWTorch assistant editor

Former WWE/UFC star Brock Lesnar is rumored to be returning at WrestleMania 28 on Sunday and former WWE star Dave Bautista has arrived in Miami on WWE business, according to the Wrestling Observer. The Lesnar news follows The Rock trying to downplay a question about Lesnar possibly returning to WWE when asked by an AP reporter at Philadelphia Raw two weeks ago

By James Caldwell, PWTorch assistant editor

WWE tag champions Primo & Epico will defend the Tag Titles against the Usos and Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel in a three-way match on the WrestleMania 28 pre-show, which starts at 6:30 p.m. EST Sunday night. The match will be streamed live on WWE's website and on YouTube.com (and presumably on the PPV pre-show that airs on cable/satellite providers).

WWE News: WrestleMania 28 rapper reveals planning entrance routine with Cena, why there will be no pyro or flashiness

Mar 30, 2012 - 1:42:29 PM
Wade Keller, PWTorch editor

Hip-Hip star Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) is no longer wrestling to establish his place in the entertainment industry. The Ohio-native recording artist, signed to Bad Boy Records/Interscope by industry moguls Sean "Diddy" Combs and Jimmy Iovine, quite literally finds himself in the main event.

With his hit single "Invincible" the official song of WWE WrestleMania 28, MGK will accompany John Cena to the ring in Miami when he challenges Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in the marquee match of the annual Pay-Per-View. MGK spoke about the performance in an exclusive interview with WrestlingInc.com.

"I think the dopest thing about the performance is he didn't want to do any flashy sh-- or any pyro," MGK revealed. "We were told we could do whatever we wanted. They laid out this big plan; we'd come out with f---ing fire and all this crazy sh--. Cena was like, 'Lets make sure we keep it about what we stand for, which is simplicity and representing for the average Joe.' I thought it was cool we're not going to do any of that. We're just going to come out and do our thing."

MGK also revealed that this Sunday will be the largest crowd that he has performed in front of. He also made it clear that he will be supporting John Cena during the evening's main event.

"John Cena has got it this year," MGK stated. "All I'm really focused on is making sure my man takes home the win... I'm riding with Cena; Cena's the greatest!"

For more from the interview, including MGK talking about how he will deal with the boos from the Miami crowd and future plans with WWE, you can check out the full interview at WrestlingINC.com by clicking here: MGK Talks Friendship With John Cena, Says WrestleMania Not A One Shot Deal.
