After two straight afternoons on the road, Terry & Dan B. return to 2 Prudential Plaza today and as always, there's a lot to talk about between 1:15-ish & 6p.

For starters, even though I'm not about to panic, the Bulls have a 2-game losing streak, blowing an 11 point halftime & a 15 point lead and lost their 4th in a row overall vs. a team they're only facing once this season. The Houston Rockets took advantage of 19 Bulls' turnovers, outscored Chicago 31-19 in another disasterous 3rd quarter and won 99-93 at United Center to snap a streak of 86 games in which the Bulls won their next game following a loss. Head coach Tom Thibodeau was as mad as he's ever sounded, and his postgame presser might be worth rewinding this afternoon.

Additionally, Kentucky won their first NCAA Basketball Championship since 1998, a 67-59 win over Kansas that got head coach John Calipari his first National Title and Anthony Davis corraled 16 rebounds, despite only 1 field goal to be named "Most Outstanding Player". I'm reasonably sure there will be talk about the National Championship game, the likelihood that Davis turns pro and probably less than flattering commentary about Calipari along the way, too.

Those hoop thoughts, along with baseball thoughts as the season draws near and a whole lot more are on tap this afternoon on the "Boers & Bernstein Show". The game plan is coming up.

For a team like the Houston Rockets, the regular season actually means something. HC Kevin McHale and his team are right in the midst of fighting for their playoff lives in the top-heavy Western Conference. Right now, they're a game and a half ahead of the Jazz for the last playoff spot after both Houston & Utah won their respective games last night.

As for the Bulls, I think they've hit the wall and can't wait to start the NBA Playoffs. However, it's a question of whether they'll have home court advantage in the Eastern Conference again, regardless of all the injuries they've had.
