I've been listening/watching this the last few weeks and it's pretty good. I'm not a national sports radio guy either. I'm not sure if anyone else listens to the show, but I would suggest giving it a shot.

I love it. Especially since he doesn't care if he pisses off anyone at ESPN now. Solid show...

Agreed. Solid show with a good host who is free to say what he would like, or shall I say relatively free.

When he had that guy on that was involved in the Craig James/Texas Tech/Mike Leach fracas I thought it was top notch stuff, Dan Patrick even went into telling about how ESPN tried to shut him down on an occasion or two.

The man is a professional.

This show is 1,000,000 times better than the show he did on ESPN. I'll put this on directv when I'm working from home. The occupy gameday stuff was pretty good.

I watch it all the time. It was a good listen when Dan was at what he calls "the mothership", ESPN Radio. It's even better now visually watching it on DIRECTV's Audience Network, the former 101 Network, and/or Comcast SportsNet. It's probably the only studio of its kind with a "Wall of Morale" with Sports Illustrated swimsuit models, a "Sandman Shrine" dedicated to Dan's close friend, actor/producer Adam Sandler, a regulation basketball floor and hoop, a golf simulator and more.

The Dan Patrick Show is now giving Boers and Bernstein a run for my favorite radio show.

I didn't say it's winning. Giving a run. It was possibly for some shock value, as I think many people won't give it a chance due to the national stigma. When it was first simulcast on Comcast, I remember thinking I'd never pay attention, and DP lost the battle against ESPN.

It's not a bad show.

Still a bit too vanilla when it comes to guests, but its miles better than any other national show.

I see. Well I am going to be watching you closely. As the man chosen to wear the Boers avatar you bear a ton of responsibility around here. Don't let us down.
