I'm jumping ahead here but I know we have a lot of guys down or near the Joliet area but MJH will be at the brand new Heroe's West in Joliet on Friday June 8th. The joint just opened on Sunday and is a must see.

MJH were down at the old Heroe's about 5 years ago and it was packed and one of the best remotes I've been too. As Mac once told me "Were huge down in Will County".

See ya there !!

That's great. I knew the signal went well west, but I didn't realize it streched all the way to Will County. Good to hear.

NSJ, quite the opposite. The signal out west is crap. 670 reaches all the way to the Quad Cities and comes in well. ESPN 1000 craps out at 8:00 in Aurora.

I drive by Heroes West everyday. It's at I-80 and Houboult Rd., you can see the place from the highway, makes one thirsty.

Did not hear it was open yet. Looks like they kept the garage doors on the one side of the building. Good times.

I'm in - that's down the street from me. Gotta love a little home court advantage!

Slappy was that for the BCS Championship Game when McGahee's knee imitated oragami?

Mac was last seen leaving that place in a some uber-gay purple Northwestern jacket.

Jurko hung out until the end of the game, which was around 10PMish... He was truly a 'man of the people' that night.

That is coorect. I brought back about 15 buddies from Heroe's and we went thru a keg , 2 bottles of vodka , bottle of Rum ,bottle of Jack and couldn't tell you who won the game afterwards.

I'd have the message board guys and "GIRLS" over after the show if people were up for more drinking and cards or something .

Just a note for the geographically challenged....... Will County is SOUTH, not WEST. Joliet is about as far west as it goes, with the eastern border being the Indiana state line.

We would welcome MJH to our quaint little boondocks, should they be so inclined to visit.

Hey Frankfort G, whereabouts your 20?

If that corn silo about a half mile East of 45 and Stuenkel Road could talk... there'd be many a father angry at a young Assassin back in the day...

Is HEROES WEST supposed to be the new "Heroes and Legends" that closed down a few years back?

Part of Aurora West of Rt 59 is in Will County as well so I would say that's pretty West.

Imagine how happy Slappy will be when Joliet gets a 3 star restaurant  .....People in Joliet consider fine eating to be the Applebees on Plainfield Rd.

They have white table cloths and candles on the tables at the White Castle down here .

We have to drive to Naperville for fine dining down here .They have a great sushi place over on the other side of town in Crest Hill.

If your a boozer this a great town to live in . I think per capita, Joliet has the most bars in the country . There is a neighborhood corner tavren on every block on the Eastside part of town .

Thanks for sticking up for us Slappy - these guys would have a great time down this way. They don't know what they are missing in bars downtown by Silver Cross Field alone.

Yep, It's right up the road from your former haunt...JJC

I hear the new place is pretty spectacular for a sports bar. Hopefully the menu is similar to the old joint - great burgers and the best wings around.

Dem's fightin' words spmack. Actually it's pretty much true, but Barolo (downtown) and Truth (near West) offer above average grub :D

The I80 exit at Hoboult Rd... ah yes, far too familiar back in the glory days when I went to the fine institution of Joliet Junior College.

I actually thought the wings at Heroes and Legends were sub-par. Great burger, obviously, but they also had a hell of a roast beef sandwich (most of the time).

My wife and I went over there for lunch today and it's very nice inside but a bit small . The beer garden is very nice and has a 115 Bourbon Street feel as the beer garden opens up next a seperate bar in the back .

The menu was scaled back a bit as they just opened and there trying to get things right but I had the burger which was huge and about the size of a frizbe and was awesome .

A ton of very good looking JJC co-eds hanging out in the beer garden after a long day of final exams.. First time I ever heard a girl say "I'm putting my self thru school to become a stripper" . WOW..

I hope MJH does the show from the beer garden ..Very , very nice back there .
