It's just too much of Goff doing the "People say (a completley stupid thing that nobody was actually saying) and I was always saying (common sense thing)." Or "I told you (common sense thought) when everybody else in Chicago was saying (stupid thought)."

It's just not like that. It's a battle that doesn't exist. But it's easy radio, makes the host look great and smart. He learned it from Bernstein.

come to think of it, goff doesn't often mention the times he was wrong about somebody.

I think the terms NBA Expert and Insider were retired quickly and shortly after Goff's tweet that Dwayne Wade's signing to the Bulls is "iminent" blew up in his face. I liked Jason, but he needs to come back to earth a little and reign it in a bit.

Jason never referred to himself as an "insider" or an "NBA Expert". In fact the only person who ever used the term "NBA Expert" to describe Goff was Terry. And Jason always said, "C'mon man..." because he knows it's silly.

So yeah, y'all need to chill with that. Goff knows what he is and what he isn't.

And also, a LOT of media people tweeted a lot of incorrect information during the summer of 2010.

I never said that Jason proclaimed himself as the Score's NBA expert and insider. The promos and I heard McNeil on a few occasions when Jason would come on his show to talk hoops refer to Jason as the Score's NBA expert/insider. A lot of people said things during the 2010 free agency, but saying I think LeBron is coming to Chicago and Dwayne Wade's signing with the Bulls is iminent are two different things. I thought Dwayne meeting with the Bulls was strange to begin with seeing how much respect or lack thereof he had for Bulls management because of his perceived notion that the Bulls mistreated Michael and Scottie. In the end, he just used the Bulls as leverage, a lot of players do that anyway.

That's this show in a nutshell most of the time.....and it's getting worse.

Tilting at windmills is bad radio.

Drinky now does this with the Cubs.

C'mon guys. You are drinky and Goff. Not the brightest guys in the world despite the fact that you've convinced yourself of that. You really aren't the only ones that can comprehend baseball and basketball. You're the same goofs you were before you found Berntein's nest. The B&B show has given you false muscle and radio courage, good nutrition has given you length of bone, but you're not more than one generation removed from poor white trash, aren't you drinky and Goff?

Sorry. "Silence of the Lambs" just came to mind as I was typing.

I'm glad the other guys in the studio agree with me on the unlistenable Matt Rodewald. He goes out of his way to go out of his way when he should just report the news and move on.

Goff just got into it with him again. Said the update music only lasts 3.5 minutes and his update was so long it ran out. Rodewald was butthurt.

It's the one thing Zaidman does well - take him off the Bears beat and have him do updates. Then, take Larry off hosting duty and put him on the Bears beat. Put Goff/Abatacola on nights. Problems solved.

Well, there is that whole Mac/Spiegs thing, but you can't solve everything.

Can't agree with you more. Shark's guy Rodewald thinks he is an on air personality and he's just not. While I have not had the pleasure to see his dance moves like Shark has, Rodewald can moonwalk his way back to doing traffic on Ch. 5.

Yeah, Rodewald seems to editorialize a lot, like "boy, how about the _____? They sure did lose again, not looking good for them right now" or whatever.

When I heard it, it sounded like an Onion News bit. Watching the video...it kinda looks like a rehearsed bit.

Here's some Burger King. Pretend Dan Bernstein made it.

Your word loses.

If it was only Terry people wouldnt say anything.

It was all over the station frequently during LeBron's FA

Goff may not have asked for it, but it was what they called him
