He plays a solid 2B and if he hits .260-.275, 12-15 HR, and 75-90 RBI, he's not going anywheres

And Beckham is not going anywhere. All last year you were talking about him going to Charlotte. Of course his numbers aren't great but he is with the big club permanently unless he gets hurt.

Frank, baseball today is so much more specialized, the complete game is rare these days. As for Beckham, the guy can field. That's not the issue. "Experts" who are paid to watch Bud Selig's Major League Baseball for a living are starting to grow impatient with Beckham the batter. The White Sox thought when they called up Beckham they had their own answer to the Rays' Evan Longoria. I'm not about to give up, but I wish I had a solution for what ails Gordon at the plate.
