I cant think of a more perfect storm for this show than the bench players winning the game, capped by a miracle shot by C.J. Watson

Its gonna be a bloodbath today

It's time for Bulls fans to stand, joice, and re-cheer!

Yeah. How dare players do good and win the game. We should be ashamed of ourselves for finding enjoyment in last night Bulls vs Heat OT win. What a bunch of losers and meatballs we are.

The worst part is that you know that Bernstein was loving it too, but now he has to spend hours pretending he didn't.

Exactly.

My goodness my blood boils thinking that someone would detract from the excitement of winning a game. I don't know about the rest of the board, but I get excited winning a pick-up game or watching my children's youth sporting contests. So I think it's fair to be happy about your pro sports teams winning a game against a good team. But heck, I am a classic meatball.

I do get riled up by it all, so I should take your advice. I stopped listening late last year. I got sick of a lot of things, but mostly that these shows were making me angry about the world of sports. Sports are supposed to be fun and drama filled, and sports talk radio is mainly hate and negativity. I was very excited last night with all the hockey and basketball to be had plus keeping a half eye on my fantasy baseball players....

Great post. I have listened to not even 10 minutes this week. I turned on tuesday and within two minutes bernsie brings up Sandusky. PTFB. Yesterday they both say this game is worthless. Yet when people used to bash LeBron they would call them basketball retarded and say if you don't like watching LeBron you hate basketball. These two used to have a great show but have gotten so far into their negative schtick that it is unlistenable on most days.
So if you know you are going to hate a show and the negativity, why listen?? Sports should be an escape, something fun.

You almost got it right. I had unprotected sex with a Liberian brother, and we went out to eat afterwards for a delicacy called week old goat liver. The local malt liquor probably had the same taste and toxicity of water from a Haitian River.

:)

You can bet when Terry & Dan B. start an abbreviated show this afternoon from Real Time Sports in Elk Grove Village following Ranger's White Sox Radio Network postgame, the Heat/Bulls talk will be, if you'll pardon the expression, a hot button topic of discussion as well as Derrick Rose & Joakim Noah spectating for much of the 4th quarter and overtime in Chicago's 96-86 OT win over Miami last night.

I don't know if they'll talk about how great a seat White Sox 2B Gordon Beckham had if you were watching the TNT broadcast of last night's game. I know Bernsy tried awfully hard to downplay the game's importance when Beckham made an impromptu in-studio visit yesterday in place of "The Second Half". If anyone wonders why Bernsy always mentions "surprises along the way" at the start of every "B & B Show", Beckham's visit was a prime example.

That game was important BECAUSE Rose was on the bench and they stuck it to them. And btw, Miami WAS trying. 3 out of 12 does not make a team.

Derrick Rose didn't have a problem with being benched. The shots weren't falling for him, and it was about TEAM for Derrick & his Bulls. Even he's not immune to an off night.

dan believed lebrat james when he said "they werent ready last time. rose was out so we thought it would be easy".

well now this time they had to prepare for rose, and didnt have to play him. why was the result the same? because the bulls are better then the heat.
